Samsung finally details its latest Exynos 1480 chipset

The new chip is built on the 4nm EUV process and comes with an AMD-based GPU.

then Galaxy A55 (with better chipset than yours) can run it better and also cooler.

2. if you think you don't overpay for your slow and warmer chinese phone for 1 year software update,

then Galaxy A55 (with better chipset than yours) is perfect since it got 5 years software updates, multiple times longer than chinese phone.

    So we are moving from 4+4 to 2+6 config. Such a downgrade.
    Still using Cortex A78 which is half a decade old, no Cortex 710. ( Forget Cortex A715 or A720 )

    Some are comparing it to Snapdragon 7 Gen series, grow up, only 7s Gen 2 comes with such CPU config and is basically 6 Gen kind of processor in terms of performance.

        Not to mention all new chinese midrange come with slower chipset than Exynos 1480. All of them.

But the 7200 GPU seems slightly s... moreCpu is much stronger in E1480 check Any benchmark which test full multicore like Geekbench 5, difference is like 50%, and D7200 bottlenecked hard by Two big cores, that Gpu is wasted because of weak cpu. Just check Youtube any cpu heavy games like Honkai, you can see how it struggle reaching high fps.

                            I use a mini-PC with Ryzen from laptop and it works stable and can run games like GTA 5 or Witcher 3 with iGPU.
                            I also use Linux and it works nice.
                            So, it's good for games, for development.
                            Companies also use epyc CPUs for servers.
                            They also used in supercomputers.
                            Top 1 supercomputer now:
                            "Frontier - HPE Cray EX235a, AMD Optimized 3rd Generation EPYC 64C 2GHz, AMD Instinct MI250X"
                            Go to that lab and say them that AMD is unstable.

                                      Cpu wise E1480 is equal to sd 888 and slightly faster than 870 and Gpu wise 870 is slightly faster than E1480.
