And with Samsung node and caps as this is a mid-ranger, I don't expect that much of a performance lift in a A720, but would be a significant price increase. Not worth it.
This decision doesn't sound too bad. Only if it wasn't because the price...

Same as exynos 1380, displays up to FHD+ are not suitable.
Tab s9 FE/+ had an exynos 1380 and the tablet had a resolution greater than FHD+ which resulted in severe animation stuttering.
If this exynos is used for S10 FE, it will be a nightmare again.

Nvidia fanboys on PC and Snapdragon fanboys on Android will user inefficient old Graphics API (DX11 and OpenGL/ES) than using newer efficient API like DX12 or Vulkan.
