Samsung finally details its latest Exynos 1480 chipset

The new chip is built on the 4nm EUV process and comes with an AMD-based GPU.

The lag usually come from os/game optimization. What a fking surprise that sd is not lagging. Maybe because dev usually optimize their game for it. Same as apple. Dev will optimize it for them 1st. Same as desktop also. Dev will optimize for nvidia 1st. But that doesn’t mean said hardware is bad. Just not fully optimize. Been using k60ultra for few months already, but guest what? Even low end sd chipset get 120fps in game setting while my dimensity 9200+ didnt.

      How did you guys even get 2+6 core? Even in Samsung's on website it clearly stated they're 4+4 cores. Weird.

        Amd is still extremely unstable. Try to play some LAN games, that means games without internet. And games from that era. Then you will see that amd is still the same. Random lags.

        Exynos does the same thing. Random lags, especially on gfx. While the sd version of the unit doesn't have those lags.

                              We have seen monopoly in CPU market for PC.
                              When AMD was almost died, Intel charged high prices and sold same 4-cores CPUs.
                              Competition is progress and better prices for customers.

It might take a while for them to get the latest cores right on the money. I could be wrong though. 🤷‍♂️
