It is now merged with lock screen settings - so all clock settings you make on lockscreen are now on AOD as well (there are also some new usefull widgets). If you use lockstar in Good lock app, you better switch it off, since it messes these settings up.

Hope they fix the WiFi 6E connectivity issue on the S23 with this update.
The connection keeps on dropping only on the 6E band.
Samsung, you should be aware of this issue on the S23 series phones.

I received the update for my s23. i am happy with the new transition animations and fluidity of the UI. inputs are much smoother now. AI generated wallpapers work well. AOD customization is now synced with lock screen in terms of style and widgets. I am not so interested in AI translation features and circle to search features. s23 voice call mic quality is overall very good but, I expect to see a bit more improvement with new AI voice focus mic feature to filter more of the background noise during calls (a feature that has already been present for video calls since one UI6). I couldn't test this yet. everything looks the same in camera UI and features. auto slow-mo works very well. capture any regular video, go to gallery and slow down part of it by 1/4x. you literally lose no frames in the output video!

Worst update ever. They removed the gesture navigations (something you use every day), for circle to search option (something you will use only once, and forget about it). Very dissapointing move from samsung

Already updated my S23 Ultra this morning. Great update! Optimized my apps through Good Guardians, it feels even smoother than before and the new features that made it are neat too. Overall, really nice update with so far no noticeable issues besides limited language support

AOD Clock Style is removed in 6.1 for S23+
Need to check in details for many settings to see what is added/modified/removed.

Get ready for screen burn-in because Samsung turns off pixel switch once again. But don't worry, they will come with an update to fix it, after your screen is ruined.
And since it's software related, that Samsung fails to do correctly, the user needs to be paying for new screen!

The limited language support in this update does not appear to provide significant value. Currently, AI is predominantly focused on language-based tasks.

Incredible how much they talk about .1 updates as if they're earth-shattering.
I installed the update this morning and I struggled hard to notice even 1% of a difference.
Amazing they're able to market this update so much that they're selling the S24 line this much.
People are really stupid.
