    $1,000? But only using the 8s Gen 3 instead of the proper 8 Gen 3? Meaning it will have a weaker GPU than the Edge 40 Pro and no 8K video recording, which the Edge 40 Pro did.

    And there's people here praising it. You people are such a disappointment.

      I knew there had to be an Ultra!
      This does seem a bit of a steep asking price but time will tell I guess.

          Proper to edit.

          Edited raw from my G62 is far better than jpeg out of Edge 40 Pro. It does not look muddy, no oil painting.

Sure the OV50H sensor wasn't even launched at the time of the Edge 30 series and wasn't available at the time of the 40 series also. Besides they used a 1/1.55", 1.0µm sensor. It was the OV50a according to Chinese sources. It is impossible to be the OV50h as apart from the sensor not being available when these phones were launched it is a 1/1.3", 1.2µm sensor. The OV50h is a good and popular sensor. It is used on the following flagship series phones:

                                Pumpino, 29 Mar 2024A new UI? How is it different from the existing stock android?Who knows. The article just mentions a new UI named Hello UI. We don't know if it will be the current UI with a new name or a brand new one. I would prefer the first option since it makes me feel like I'm using a Google Pixel phone, but without their underpowered Tensor chipsets.

                                  Woah, it's another great looking phone by Motorola!

                                  Kudos to Motorola for not succumbing to generic designs.

                                  Sucks that this phone probably isn't available in Canada. I don't think they sell their flagships here, I've only seen their budget phones.

Despite that, Motorola fails to make the most of it with software processing. Luckily, the rear camera on my Fusion is decent with GCam, but Moto really should do better or switch to a more popular sensor.

                                        The base price will be too high to not have the latest SoC. It will be more expensive than the Oneplus 12, which has the same features, a better processor and cheaper. The only thing I like is that it brings back the periscope lens we lost with the Edge 20 Pro. I'm also looking forward for the new UI. I will miss MyUx. It was almost pure android with some useful tweaks.
