Just love the feel of phones like that (HTC too tbh, late 00s to early 10s they actually made some really good, now mandate featured phones). Why ill take a faux leather/ceramic back over a glass if i could, less prone to shattering and nicer to hold (LG g5 then G4 are kings still imo).

Possibly the last ever phone with a metal un... moreI might get one as a side use phone (like run emulators on it etc), ive got a broken g5 and i love holding it and tbh the nokia 8 isnt a bad phone, still super useable (lets be honest, the cameras havent changed enough for the nokia not to be useable still).
Oh yeah they are/were but it was the price worth paying haha 😂😅😁

I do agree on how it's a pleasure to hold. And it gets a bit slippery too without a case.

Dr. Watson, 29 Mar 2024...are they really going back to a glossy frame? I thought ... moreThe only time polished aluminium looked good was on the Nokia 8. It gives a very solid, smooth and luxury feeling, but needs to be taken care of fingerprints.
Especially given that Apple's poor durability for their phones, I wouldn't be surprised that this implementation can be far worse than what they did on the 15 series. To each their own.

Tbh if they did that but with the backs, id happily just get an iphone and try the ecosystem out more. Enough really good features to be a candidate (if the price is right). Id just just phones with go back to metal backs, felt so nice when picking them up.

Apple. It is Apple who has the urge to copy any Android feature, like copying the titanium frame of vertu (2013) or essential phone (2017)🤣

Imagine paying premium price for a phone with "old" features from 3 years prior🤣
It is so eazzy to guess the next new feature of iPhone only by seeing the existing feature on any Samsung phone.

First phone with glossy Titanium fram was actually an Android phone, Vertu Ti from 2013.
Apple (again) just copies Android phone like always.
Credit goes to Android phone manufacturer Vertu and Essential phone, for applying Titanium frame on smartphone long before iPhone.
