It has zero utility other than feel and appearance outside of the phone. The frame itself is aluminum. Did you even watch Apple's keynote? They did say it.

The same with S24 Ultra. Cosmetic purpose.

Switching between glossy and matte frames and glass each other year seems to be the new innovation in the Apple family. You gotta love how they always gift new stuff to this world!

TechJocky, 29 Mar 2024Typical fanboy without any idea. Nokia used Titanium body in 2008Typical Nokia fanboy, actually titanium was first used back in 1953 by North American Aviation in the the F-100 Super Sabre

ewww glossy frame. That's such a huge downgrade. Matte frames have always been absolute pleasures to hold. Such a shame that Apple is so cheap that instead of upgrading something like the UW cam or the telephoto cam they're gonna switch the coating on the frame to differentiate. The fanboys are gonna eat it up and say "wow the new glossy coating really is better than the last one, you've just gotta buy it to know it man"

I have the XS and like that it’s shiny. So I‘d appreciate to have a shiny option.

Titanium like diamond have no real place in user-device/consumable. Those two have place only in industrial/military/scientific usage.
Diamond, as most people know was pretty much forced to market and advertised as amazing stone for set from the start elevated price, but really its place is in industrial usage as cutting tool, especially diamond dust.

And titanium? its great for light tough, high temperature resisting frames and coating for special devices and vehicles, but on phone? High grade aluminum will give you EXACTLY the same properties for x5 less cost and the same less time for manufacturing...

Aluminium, Titanium, wood, sapphire, leather, and carbon fibre are in use before your birth. And about removing the charger, you should rather mock that fruit company instead of taking pride like a troll.
