How to tell if I'm really watchi... moreSure you can tell the difference between FullHD and UltraHD but someone needs to point it out to you what to look for. Keep in mind that not all movies are finished in a way to promote superfine detail and 4K experience. Movies with high film grain such as Interstellar take an impact in resolution scaling from 1080p to 2160p but difference is still visible.
If you take the John Wick or Mad Max on both Bluray and 4K Bluray the difference is quite visible

Photographers who want the same experience on their phones account for a small percentage of them. People buy Xperia because it meets their needs. Just because Samsung sells better, it doesn't make it any less true that Xperia meets their needs. Your argument is a dead end. The amount of people using a product has nothing to do with how well it meets their needs. I personally couldn't buy any other phone even if I wasn't a hobbyist photographer, because I need expandable storage. Y'all need to drop this argument of majority. By that logic men should use honda civics as work trucks because that's what the majority use.

Biggest issue with Sony phones is that even their flagship phones are having only 2 years of software support.

I bought a Pixel 8 Pro - the 512GB version (!) for 950, Sony without promotions (almost none). It's cheaper now, but it cost £850. I paid extra £100 for 384GB and a better camera and long support.
A mate - Sony fan, had a Samsung Ultra S21, he looking for phones, rejected the Sony 1 V and bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Version 5 V or VI - they are too expensive and do not have all the functions, Sony photos lose in automatic mode. And this is how 90-95% of customers take photos. Phones with worse sensors take better photos than Sony. Sony dont have programs such as repurchase of devices like Google or Samsung. Cheaper watches, buyback, promotions for students, in-app promotions.
Today, Sony is losing even at home in Japan, where people buy Google Pixel.
It's a pity because I had a Sony in the early 00s, I had Z, XZ, 5 II - but Sony is not developing, it is expensive, it dosnt have the entire ecosystem. And for a handful of fans - it's not worth losing money on production.

who care whether they are same or not..SONY still the best in profesional mode. No fake tonne colour ..No gimmick effect.. No saturate .No over expose like galaxy camera..

If Sony goes full into AI post processing it's going to be much better than the over processed/over sharpened/over saturated ones on most of the competition.

Most people here literally have no understanding of tech, google used the same 12mpx cam on the pixels for years but continued to improve output quality via software. No way SONY would be putting the same software from the 1V onto the 2024 version they will improve the quality
