Probably random ghosttouches like Moto G100 or network disconnects like Edge 30 with 0 support from Motororola brand. Electronic trash.

Sure the Poco x6 pro is better for gamers that value performance above all else but this Motorola has many advantages too. The cameras are infinitely better. The build is more premium with a metal frame. Faster charging, wireless charging and lighter phone with better in hand feel. IP68 rating. All phones have pros and cons and different consumers want different things. I'd much prefer this over the Poco x6 pro as I value cameras more but others will prefer the Poco x6 pro if they focus mainly on performance and don't care about a rubbish camera setup

Back case design makes it look like an ultra budget $100 phone. The Edge 40 Pro was so much more premium looking. PASS.

Except you have download speeds over 10 G/bit, there is real use for ufs 4.0, because the Phone will keep up with your connection speeds then. Especially pointless when your Phone still hangs on USB 2.0.

Of course ufs 4.x is faster, by a lot.

But I cannot find a use for it except moving things around within your internal storage.

Gaia, 03 Apr 2024what th you are talking about? UFS 2.2 is slower than 3.1, ... moreUFS 2.2 may be decent now. But it is not future proof. It is 2024. Why would you want outdated tech in your mid range phone. UFS 2.2 is acceptable for low-end Redmi 12 5G, Poco M6 5G type devices under 200USD, not for Edge 50 Pro.

You can argue an all rounder phone negatives a faster performance phone. How how much faster does the performance phone need to be to negate the all rounder phone? 20%? 30%? 40%? 50%?

Dimensity 8300 Ultra has around 50% higher Antutu score than Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. UFS 4.0 Read/write speed is also is 3 to 10 times higher than UFS 2.2. So it kind of negates the whole all rounder advantages in my opinion.

They don't want to address the biggest problem with phones today i.e size. They make what's in demand by majority, because it lessens their production cost, and ignore the growing need for smaller phones because that's not much profitable to them

I have stopped buying phones as frequently as I used to, because of lack of options in compact segment. That's a good thing tho, I save a lot of cash every year that way

There is a difference between the Poco X6 Pro and Edge 40 Pro because the former is targeted at performance junkies, those looking for only one thing in a phone at lowest prices possible and the poco series caters to those crowds. While moto phones are towards casual users looking for all round devices that can do decent in all areas, if not the best. I will buy a moto as an everyday use phone any day, and for heavy gaming, it'll be the poco. It's just a matter of preferences to the buyer
