hopefully the Redmi Pad Pro has more Pro spec :

5GsimCard, 1Tb internal, Dual Cam include UltraWide.

Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) is excellent with it's dual usb-C and 8.8" option.
but missing 5GsimCard support, AmoLED display.

We dont ha... moreI also doubt that's a scanner but that dot is definitely not in a bad place for a scanner, quite the opposite, and if it keeps the price down as well then why not. Though I doubt there is that much of difference in price between the various scanners. I guess that dot is just for design then.

You got better cpu but slower GPU, also you got the benefit of the new Ai hub (which is why they introduce some ai air gesture for this phone). + The performance/efficiency is also similar, in some games they got better performance/watt than the SD8Gen2.

We dont have phones much anymore that have that scanner on the rear of the phone it's either on the side or under display. And based on the latest Xiaomi phones the scanner should be under display.

          Also that black dot is in a really bad spot to be a scanner. There is no logic to it to be a scanner.

Not sure if there is a 2mp but that makes no difference anyway. I think it's unlikely they'd give it a 1/1.55" sensor as that's what the Redmi k70 has and this one is positioned lower.

              I think that black dot inside the flash ring is a fingerprint sensor.

That black spot between the flash ring dont seem to be a camera as i dont see even tiny lens in the middle of it. In the end of the day what do you people hope to have from middle class phone that is performance first ?

                    there are maybe only few phones in middle class that is camera as first priority. Samsung Galaxy A55 dont have better camera then phones in the same price range or performance range. Never mind that Samsung is compensating quality with over filtering the pictures where people complain that people skin turn to yellow with samsung camera filtering.


                    Even budget 100 euro phones have good enough cameras for majority of people and these do the job people need in life. It's not like we still do family albums and the like these days with phone cameras. People go to professional photographer for family pictures.

                    For me phone camera finds use mostly when i take cold and hot water numbers to pay the bill for a month or when i need to read some small text behind some product so i can zoom in to read it. Or when i have some home construction project and need to go to construction shop so i can ask advice from the workers for solution and what to buy

                    For that even my old Redmi Note AI Dual cam with dual 12mp camera was good enough and the phone was only 170 euro over 6 years ago.

                        All 8g2 were secured in late 2022. Then delivered batch by batch.
                        Tsmc does not keep making them for qualcomm year after year.
                        Chinese brands get more than they would need for current flagships with the idea to use on other cheaper phones 1 year later.
