                Anonymous, 10 Apr 2024Most person that can afford a brand new $300 phone can affo... moreI have other reasons to like 3.5mm jack like why should i buy a 25 euro wireless headphones if i already have working well headphones that fit in my ears and wont cause pain in long term use that i have used for last 10 years. Also i forget to charge headphones even at home with full over ear cups. And then when i want to use then the battery is empty or soon to be empty.

                Also my old headphones will turn to e-waste cause i cant use them with the phone as i dont have any other device to use the headphones for. Also wireless are mostly only like the apple style with the sound coming from the side hole or the silicon thingies that i never understand how to set them in ear so that these wont fall off so it be easy to lose these wireless headphones too and then need to spend another of the 25 bucks to get new set.

                Also i dont like converters cause that will make more wear on the type-c plug and also dont work well. At least the one's i have had previously. I bought few from aliexpress for 2 euro each as not the cheapest versions and give one to my friend who use it in car with his Galaxy S22 and he said the sound cuts out after 30 minutes of use so he was mad about it too.

                For DAC i would say it's better to get MP3 player then that have FM Radio and will be only music player

                    Wired vs Wireless...I don't know which people find more convenient considering this modern age. Because I will prefer something more flexible and easy to use while I can move freely and do my work without getting worried about wire entangled!

                          I'm not usually the kind of guy to complain about no headphone jack, enough people already do that, but in this case, Xiaomi still had them in their lower midrangers so far, now, I will probably never buy this phone because I prioritize cameras, but this is the same pricepoint as the Redmi Note 13 Pro series, indicating that the 14 Pro won't have a headphone jack either.

Get that in your head finally that it's made for performance first to cut cost down you get middle class camera while you get flagship performance.

                              I want my phone to be fast when i operate it but i dont much care for camera and middle class cameras already make good enough quality anyways. You wont even use flagship phone with best camera on the market to use it as professional work tool so why complain about it ?

                                  You can also use the DAC when there is the 3.5mm jack.
                                  What ever device you set between a phone and headphones is added device.
                                  It's really bad attitude to remove ports or slots like microSD card. All things that are removed have a solution with other devices,

                                  Also if the DAC is big then it takes more space in the pocket with the phone and wears the type-c port

                                        Peak: 2400nits, HBM: 1050-1100nits, Typ: 700 nits.

                                        4000 pwm dimming is only found on honor phones.
