Once upon a time, Moto and Nokia were the rulers of Mobile handset business. They were ruling the world. Later Nokia started bringing ordinary things, it vanished. HTC was also a name recognized by its unique feature that was Front facing stereo spelers, later it became ordinary, it vanished. Moto brought flip.open Razr, Rotating display handsets, Modular and unique Z series. Later it started bringing the ordinary, and it's taking the last breaths. Soon, it will vanish. The promise of Android 15 doesn't mean much. It will be released in about six months. Two major updates and three years of security updates would be more reasonable. That said, not everyone will purchase the phone at the time it's released, so three years isn't long, especially when updates are only bi-monthly. That's only 18 patches. Four years of security updates would be more reasonable.
