I don't get it why these phones have no data capabilities (meaning having a 4G modem as well). It would make these devices more all-rounder units. 2G will disappear at a certain point (I know, it's not for tomorrow) , depending on where you live (although I don't know why it should be cancelled because the necessity for more bandwidth is more of an excuse than a real necessity). Never the less, I'm still very fond of feature phones. Reminds me of the good old times...

2G networks perfectly working and will keep work until 2033 when they will be shut down.
Cant say about your country but in europe closure of 2G been scheduled to 2033 so the old phones still works.
From then 4G and never will keep working.
Cant say when first feature i mean button phone with a 5G or never 6G will be released and from which company. But hope it will be povered by BV100 battery by a chinese Betavolt company.

I get the idea of digital detox. But for me, I still want to have great camera performance while shying away from the social media world. That's why I still daily run Windows Phone in 2024. The Lumia 1020/950/950 XL's camera can still give a great run for the camera today.
