12GB RAM / 512GB flash, 1TB microsdxc expansion slot, 3.5mm headphone jack , excellent Sharp IGZO screen (2000 nits max), Leica tuned camera, 1" sensor.
Japan only, of course. Sigh.
So sad that the best phones and most interesting (offering features that no other phone offers) are always Asia only (China or Japan).
The west gets the me-too iPhone/Samsung copies with all the extra features missing.

Some projects are shared between Panasonic and Leica (also, both use same mount).
Sometimes they rebrand each other's cameras.

1260p 240hz with 8 Gen 2 (12/512) with (assuming) powerful cameras with a 5000 mAh battery is asking for trouble. Tone that 240 to 165hz and it may work out with optimal battery life.

Igzo display on my aquos sense8 is downright bad and has retention and burn in issue. My advice is stay away from sharp. If you really want this this phone, exercise extreme caution.

If this phone doesn't have the undisputed BEST camera on a phone then it'll just be another paperweight. You can't put the pedigree of a large camera company on their own phone without having an amazing phone.

Considering the news that many Japanese people went for used 13 minis when the iPhone 15 launched, it seems counter intuitive to launch a 6.6inch screen phone like this exclusively in Japan. I could be wrong though. Does anyone have any data on this?
