Anonymous, 12 Apr 2024P50 is worst, looks like a low end from oppo I have a p50 pro for over 2 years and as a personal experience I've only gotten compliments and curiosity whenever I get my phone out my pocket.
As many pointed out - design is subjective and I'm only sharing my personal anecdote.
I happen to find iPhone's blocky design one of the worst, yet lot of people find it appealing. I can understand that even if I myself don't like it. I recognize there is an appeal to their continuous simplicity. Samsung seems to have also recognized that some time ago.
So I ask you, would you be able to recognize that many people may find appeal in a design that you personally do not like? Also, would your opinion change if the brand is removed from the design or better yet, if a brand you are positively biased towards came out with that design?

No. In the middle east? No. The only place that Huawei is banned is in the US and Canada. If you lived in the US, please stop pretending that the only country exist in this world is the US. We are not in a American Movie. Huawei phones are still selling outside of China, but not the same when the US implemented it's pettiness and jealousy.

For me I like the design most specially the camera module with an ocean like design. For me the Huawei phone with the best camera module design will be the P40 Pro Plus. The ugliest would be the Mate 60 :>>

Their design is somewhat better now and it may be have some identical looks on the Iphone camera module, it still has noticeable differences. Well unlike what infinix is doing, LOL.
PS. The only design I know that Huawei copied from Apple is probably the Apple Notch and the Chin on the P20 series which looks soo ugly, Huawei really mess up on designing the p20 series, my thoughts only

There is a much more serious conflict going on in the background while the west debates camera bump designs.
We have accepted google as a software messiah and have become unwilling to accept that it's not so bad to have alternatives and that monopolies are actually detrimental to progress.
It is funny that even people in the tech sphere have become as stagnant as Samsung's innovation.
We are willing to accept moving the camera position from diagonal to vertical as innovation, but when a manufacturer implements silicon carbon batteries years before mainstream western brands even consider it - it's not even being commented on in a passing manner, because it's being developed on the wrong side of the globe.
No matter that all of western production has also been exported there for decades now.

Apple in... moreI think Huawei is trolling Apple since iPhone sales dropped heavily in China because of Huawei's comeback with the Mate 60 Pro, so they decided to make a design similar to the iPhone to show that Huawei is beginning to replace it.
I don't think Huawei copied iPhone's design sunce their previous designs have never been similar to iPhones.
