Buying a product should mean we own it and should be able to tamper with it (in the case of phones, repair it, root it ect) as long as it's not for reselling purposes.

If the Apple motherboard genuinely knows each part's unique ID, how is that preserving privacy against Apple itself?
Don't you think Apple can track you much better if it knows where the parts are ending up... ?

Remember, Apple only did this after they lobbied against right to repair for too long + Got sued by the DOJ. (Apple is a corporation, they’re not your friend. Just ask Louis Rossmann)

this reduces bying a used screens for repair to zero-just as you can any repairsman can tell you all of the recent genuine iphones displays are either taken from icloud locked devices or are refurbished ones-taked from the working device somewhere in the world and the glass get replaced,so chanses those device to be fmi off is slim to nill, still the current situation with no autobrighness, true tone and unknows part remains the same anyway

Thanks to the European Union and other governments for pressuring the Right to Repair for Apple and other manufacturers. It's really important people are able to repair their own devices if they want to.

Only apple has the logic of repairing things with old used parts as something new.
Don't buy Apple, i'd almost bet that buying Huawei would be more eco friendly than buying apple.

*Here at Apple,we do things differently.
We are inventors,we are dreamers,we are leaders.
Because we know whatever wo do,others will follow it eventually.
People don't fully understand us.
But it'll be like telling masses that why a Nissan Leaf runs longer for similar quantity of fuel compared to Pagani Zonda.
It's just out of comprehensive capabilities of your midget brains.
*We have customer satisfaction & user privacy at its centre so it's best to build a walled garden for it,otherwise anyone could sneak into your garden.
*Our devotion towards environment & woke ideas is unparalleled in the industry.
So everyone be assured that your money is safe with us,you are safe in the garden & world is never closer to eternal peace.
& sue that man 6901 times that just said that how wireless buds(with batteries & Semiconductor chips) are more environment friendly compared to wired earphones."
"Sue that man 7901 times who just asked why we're propelling magsafe as new standard as wireless is far more inefficient than wired one."
"Sue that man even harder who just asked why don't we allow swapping of parts from dead iphones easily & better recycling of old/dead iPhone to help creating less e-Waste.

Apple first create problems. Then they create solutions for that problems. After that they boast how they saved humanity from another catastrophe.
And people still believe their shit.

"Apple is also extending Activation Lock to iPhone parts in order to deter stolen iPhones from being disassembled for parts."
This could've been very useful, if iPhones do get stolen. If your get sent a stolen iPhone, you could at least sell it for parts so it's not a total loss. Reading this out loud may sound like I'm a criminal but if the buyer does sell you a stolen iPhone, you can't do anything with it, assuming the seller blocked you from all contact.

Making stolen iPhones almost worthless isnt great for the environment but is really nice for all the people who feel wary about using their iphone on the street or on public transports. Also, it makes you more likely to get it back when you forget it or lose it somewhere

'Apple continues to defend the practice of "part pairing", saying it's "critical to preserving the privacy, security, and safety" of your iPhone.'
Lmao. Thus ewaste creator keeps talking about taking care of the environment every chance they get.
But then again, its past and current CEOs do not let their younger relatives near their products or social media. The d r u g dealer doesn't consume. 😉
