To those who say they'll never buy a Samsung phone again,which brand will you buy then?People said the same thing when Sony failed to update some phones in its lineup to JB and where singing Samsung's praises then.Truth is that all of the major phone makers will at one time or the other make decisions that will favor some customers and irk others.

Jellybean couldn't run well on it. It runs Cortex-A5! It's a slowpoke.

Do they have similar plans for S Duos too? Which is due for JB update for long! If they did same thing with it I am never going to buy or recommend a Samsung phone ever to anyone!!

It would be a pointless riot, as the Mini 2 is more powerful than the Ace. Ace uses an ARMv6 version of the Snapdragon S1 chipset whereas the Mini 2 uses the significantly more powerful ARMv7 one.

bad bad news.. i have an ace plus thou i waiting for 4.x since half+ a year i bought it on a false promise(?). also at that time on the gsmarena site appeared as "upgradable to 4.1" now it's "planned update..". If i knew that it wont receive update in half+ year i wouldnt buy it..

This is a dissapointment. I wont buy any samsung phone anymore. I was planning to buy s2 mini but i think it wont receive key lime pie for sure!

This is the second device Samsung didn't update it as promised...Samsung WAVE 8500, and now my mothers phone mini 2....I hate you Samsung, N8 still gets updates and you can't deliver your promises :(

Nokia build N8 with symbian^3, updated to symbian anna and updated to symbian belle os. Any month release updates for fix. Shame u samsung, slave of google.
