The 41 MP camera that the Nokia 808 Pureview bears, is innovation.. It even pushed other smartphone manufacturers to focus on camera. The Nokia EOS will surely take better pictures than Nokia 808. Instead of criticizing, you should appreciate that Nokia is pushing other smartphone manufacturers to focus on camera.

The number 41 is false. The maximum photo size is 38 MPix. It's a pretty decent camera btw, but for the money you can get a compact digital camera with exchangeable lenses that will give you much more versatility and photo quality. I think that Sony Nex 3 series are at half the price of this camera(expected to cost some 600$).

i dnt know why nokia pretending ??? if it provide android it can sale the best , but windows ohhhhh i thnk its a crazy idea., why a person take 41mp mobile in much range price why nt dslr ???? i dnt thnk it will make ann issue compitition with samsung n sony .,, its picture quality always lags from samsung n sony instade of using eos lens or zesis lens .,nokia thnk that the people r mad ????? its the time to make fulfill public demand .,, its the time of android., be4 some year md of nokia told that they will nt provide nokia dual sim but they did coz mrkt need it ., so if nokia hold on with windows then it will a littl time take to quitthe comtition wityh sony n samsung or htc

Probably this is about time to try a Windows phone. I wish this could have a 32 or 64 GB internal storage even without external memory is enough.

Android also didnt have 7 miln apps when it was launched back in 2008 may be less than 41. It took 3 or 4 years for android to attain its current position. It is utter nonsense to say that u want 7 miln apps within a year of launch on a new software platform

I'm happy with my Nokia 1011. Well, the right time has come to replace my existing phone and the main phone i use(Nokia 1011) with this upcoming Nokia Lumia phone which will have a 41MP camera and capture breathtaking pictures and videos and which will be, most probably, the best camera phone of 2013. (=

This is fantastic news!! The original Pureview was an amazing phone but was let down by the outdated Symbian software, so I'm pleased to see that the 41mp sensor has made it to their WP8 phones. I would love to see extras such as an FM transmitter and HDMI output but we will have to wait and see!

...or a 4000mah battery on an HTC or oppo phone just cause android is too ineeficient to make use of a normal 2000mah battery.
atleast this sensor puts a noticeable difference in the picture quality

Personally wouldn't be impressed if someone e-mailed me a photo using maximum resolution of 7728 x 4354 pixels, no matter how good it might look.
This to me seems as much a gimmick for a smartphone as some of the ones Samsung put on the Galaxy S4.
