Moto Edge 50 Ultra is way overpriced for a non flagship phones and who really buy a crappie Motorola phone for over a $1000 when you have OnePlus 12 at $700 that is way better then this inferior Moto edge 50 ultra. Motorola and Sony have the worst software updates policies
even the Pixel has better software updates, and that says a lot because the Pixel phones are total junk. Android so-called flagship phones are just ridiculous and overpriced and offer nothing meaningful more than bloatware and outdated software with lot's issues and hardware problems.🙊💰🤡

If you look at Xiaomi even they have two phones with this 8s gen 3 processor. The Redmi turbo 3 and the Xiaomi Civi 4 pro. The Xiaomi Civi 4 pro is 50% more expensive than the Redmi turbo 3. But if you compare the Civi 4 pro with the Motorola edge 40 ultra the hardware is inferior apart from the selfie camera (maybe not better but they have 2 on the Civi) and arguably screen. The Motorola has a much better main camera, better zoom, better ultrawide, faster charging, wireless charging, USB 3.2 versus USB 2.0, desktop mode, proper ip rating etc. €1,000 is too expensive though. Around €800 would be a pretty good deal. It'll probably be pretty easy to get it for around €800 in a few months though I reckon. You have to consider the storage too. The price seems to be for either 512gb of storage or 1tb. Can't seem to find the official pricing on Motorola's website but these seem to be the two storage options available

Already the 8s gen 3 is the one that it brought, Motorola opted for this soc and nothing will change that fact, they just have to advertise and readjust the price, total here in the United States it will arrive for 900 with many offers... They know that they cannot compete with that price* for the rest it has better things than the boring pixel 8 pro zzzz

                  Cool, that's your opinion, which I'm gonna disagree with, yeah the chipset choice is questionable, but comparing it to last year's S23 doesn't make much sense when they are just as powerful, and even the Exynos version of the S24 isn't far ahead of this when it comes to its chipset.

                              AKG means nothing, it's just a name now that Samsung owns, if they really wanted to they could make AKG branded fridges, or shoes.. anything really. As an Edge 30 Ultra user, the speakers are amazing on this one, highly doubt the Edge 50 Pro would be worse.

                                Dual video call, auto HDR, HDR 10+, AKG stereo speakers, under display ultrasonic fingerprint, barometer, not to mention monthly security patches, new android miles ahead Motorola, etc. And everything that for much less money. Impossible to compare this 2 models. Motorola is great device, but can't come even close to this one. Especially with this crazy price.

It has so many things that you usually find only in premium flagships, so I don't think anyone would sell it for less than 800. It would kind of justify the 1000 price if it had the 8 gen 3, but even with that I think that 899 would be the ideal in that case.

That's only w... moreGigantic size difference, 64mp 3x periscope, 125W charging with the charger in the box, case in the box, 50W wireless charging, WiFi 7 (vs only 6E), and stock Android like software is (almost) all I have to say. Plus the price isn't really valid everywhere, here it costs 735 eur for the 8GB/256GB version of the S23, while the Edge 50 Ultra is 910 eur for the 16GB/1TB option here. As for software support, the Galaxy was said to get 4 years of OS updates, which was a year ago, this one will get 3 OS updates.. so they are on par when it comes to that.

                                      Except you may not get 2-3 software updates every month with Moto, which is another advantage in my opinion.
