Software is not perfect, but it is very polished and reliable. I had also an Edge+ 2022 and wasn't the mess you said. And the update policy is 3 OS updates + 4 years of sec patches. I was hoping they would increase it for this year. I will not upgrade mine for this year, even though this one is better than my Edge+ 2023 in almost every aspect.

          Samsung update policy and having 1 OneUI update every week does not means company is better they mostly release bug fixes.
          Have zero issues with my Motorola edge 40 pro.
          And using it every day playing games every day have preinstalled like 150 apps i use. Zero issues. Even the battery after a year is at 98% capacity using only 125W charger and 125W charging speeds.

The only thing that really doesn't seem top tier about it is the chipset anyways, which is basically on par with the 8 Gen 2 and that should be enough for everything, but yeah not for 1000 eur.

                            Just saw the launch price of Edge 50 Pro in europe. 700 euro. In my country Edge 50 pro cost is equivalent of 350 Euro.
                            By that logic Edge Ultra, if it makes it to my country, would cost equivalent of 500 Euro.
                            Which is lower than Iqoo 12 series (equivalent 600 euro) and that makes alot more sense.

                                That's shockingly little reasons it is better than thw Edge 50 Pro for 300 euro more.

                                And I don't even start about the huge amount of phones that crush this one, often at a lower price too.
