Android 15 is getting native satellite messaging support, but Google is preparing a bespoke experience for its upcoming line of Pixel phones.

                Now companies just call them telemetry and everybody is ok with them. Same with cloud storage being normalized and backing up locally being looked down upon.

                  Who cares about SOS when you pack your phone with a weak CPU and battery life is no where close to other flagship device. Google needs to realize what most consumer except from a flagship device. 1. Battery life. 2. Camera quality. 3. good display.

                          On Android, It is usually, Network -> Private DNS.

                          Use a server like quad9

                            Of course, you could transmit the GPS location of yourself to the satellite as part of the SOS message.

                                Improvements are happening more in software now.
                                They've almost finished upgrading the hardware. It can't get much better than this.

                                  I don't care about sheeple being tracked (those folks do not venture out of gsm network range anyway).

Unless you go deep underground, you can always be tracked if your phone has sat connectivity. Yes, even if you fully turn it off (read the Google patents on this).
