YouTube's crackdown on ad blockers expands to third-party apps

Pretty soon there will be nowhere to watch ad-free YouTube if you don't subscribe to Premium.

I’m sorry, but I’ll keep using adblockers and tampermonkey scripts, if Google keeps putting 2 10 second ads every 2-3 minutes they’re basically asking for it.

            Google can suck it, there will always be a workarround against this. Most of the content creators, that are real with their job do not live out of youtube pathetic ads, but out of sponsors, this is only for them to force people to pay for premium on a platform that has it's content uploaded for free....EU should look into it, as it seemts to be illigal what they are doing, since when is legal to force people to accept to be tracked and see ads?

                      Not only the demonetised one. Even those channels who don't even able to monetize yet are even getting ads on their videos.

                      Google might want to prepare some big cease and desist to them in unknown time. Who knows? Even when they take down the Revanced, that still won't stop us though.

                        I think everyone should start uploading videos, music, DIY projects and everything else on platforms like odysee. rumble would not recommend bitchute due to banning logins without any reason.

                          I will just stop using YouTube for entertainment, which I estimate is >99.5% of my use. They overestimate their own value a lot.

                                  Youtube/Google can do this because the people are already addicted to Youtube. I mean instead of fostering competing services, people are using apps to keep watching youtube, thus justifying Google's actions in the first place.
