Nooo this is so disappointing… I thought HMD was gonna have good quality phones that last a long time, this is the opposite of that. Their whole branding thing was that their phones lasted a long time, were durable, and easy to repair because they’re a consumer centric company. But I guess HMD got money hungry because this is such a low quality generic phone that probably won’t last longer than 2 years.

MindTheGap, 17 Apr 20241. Why that looks like Xiaomi/Vivo's camera island. 2... moreItel's software at the entry level leaves a lot of to be desired. This ironically is better than that phone despite having weaker specs.

Ok so I just saw the leaks of the Pulse Pro and the bezels on those are huge, especially the chin sooo the heck is going on here?

i see HMD is copying oppo a57 design. but with improved look and specs. unisoc T606 phones should be sold at €135 max.

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2024Hmd gonna sell phones under nokia and hmd names Nokia is dead. Hmd even stated it earlier.

                    1. Why that looks like Xiaomi/Vivo's camera island.
                    2. Typical HMD pricing, if you live in Asia, just don't get this phone. Even if you're on a tight budget and feel "enough" with T606, just get Itel S23 which is far cheaper. Or there are many options that offer better chipset like T612 or G85 if you mind to put a bit more money on, but should be noted that all phones with G85 still uses "outdated" eMMC storage.

PureOS, 16 Apr 2024Will manufacturers stop implement this useless Unisoc t6xx,... moreI don't think they need to stop doing that. They just need to stop putting ridiculous pricing on those phones.

Time to stop odm phones from Foxcomm/FIH.
All phone makers shoud design own phones.

I'd like to see an HMD (or Nokia) phone with 6.1 inch screen...

Im sure the very few people who got eyes problems with OLED will buy this.
But for most people thia phone won't be attractive since it got LCD.

There's way better out there for the money.

Regardless of how transparent or not, the mobile business is essentially one of the most unpredictable parts in today's technology industry. Either grab some attention with chipsets, reuse the same set of ODM designs or get lost.

Microsoft's decisions are what made the Nokia brand and its phones, the way they survive today. A started-from-scratch startup has nothing but an uphill battle to survive and at least improve the image of the already ruined public perception of the brand name, owing to Microsoft and the conservative staff from Nokia itself.
