These will allegedly be leftover panels from the current-generation iPad Pro model.

One thing to remember is that "mini led displays" ARE IPS LCD. Mini led is only a backlight technology with smaller leds behind the ips lcd screen instead of bigger leds that could be placed on the screen edges instead. It's the same thing as when "LED-TV's" came, just a different backlight system (instead of ccfl backlight).

Micro-LED again is the real deal but there aren't really any consumer products out there.

In some cartoons they usually place a different fruit or a funny logo on the back of the device, seeking to make fun of the Apple logo. Obviously they do not imitate the notch or Dynamic Island because it would be too obvious. In Amphibia the characters use their mobile devices a lot, I'm pretty sure I've seen imitations of iPhones throughout the series, they even imitate a Nintendo Switch. The iPhone SE with 1 camera on the back looks a lot like a cartoon mobile device, doesn't it? Or maybe the Xperia 10 V if it only had 1 camera on the back. The iPhone SE (2024) will not have a front button so it will look even more similar.

        There. Fixed it for you.
Mini LED in 2024 is the lowest quality displays you can use on anything.

You never have a good phone, aren't you? Broke can't even afford a good Android phone. 🥱

          > I guess the only people who care about a high refresh rate on their mobile devices are Samsung LagUI users or users of $100 Android devices and they will still suffer from mediocre battery life.
If Apple users don't really care about refresh rate then no one will actually buy an iPad Pro. In fact, they're bothered with the 60Hz screen on an iPad Air, and that's why they bought the Pro instead. Oh yeah and I won't even talk about the poor battery life on non Pro Max/Plus series. There's a reason why you guys prefer the Pro Max over the Pro only. 🥱

          > However, I find it very funny that even cartoon or video game characters use mobile devices that seek to parody an Apple iPhone.
Until you watch animes, lol. Also which cartoon to be exact? I also watch some Disney cartoons (so technically American cartoons) like The Owl House, Amphibia, and many others that show the character that use a mobile phone, and none of them looks like an iPhone. It's mostly looks like a phone with thick bezel on the top and the bottom of the screen (no front button) with 1 camera on the back.

              2. If someone just getting used with 60Hz screen, move to another device with 60Hz screen won't give them much impact. But if you just getting used with 120Hz screen (doesn't matter if it's an iPhone Pro, Samsung S-Series, or a $100 low-end Android phone with AMOLED 120Hz screen), there's no way 60Hz would be unnoticeable, except if you have a bad eyes.

              3. Bill Gates, Suga of BTS, Millie Bobby Brown (main actress from Stranger Things) use Samsung though. I can even name more if you want. Yeah, not as much as the celebrities that getting paid by Apple to use their phone, but famous people who use Samsung are DO existed.

The iPad Mini sales fluctuate anywhere between 10% to 40%. It is at a "low point" currently only because the old one is really outdated. They usually refresh them every 1.5 years, but the current one is now around 2.5 years or so.

If the next one is released with an A16 chipset, I would skip it, and get the older one. It'll be very similar experience (USB-C, TouchID, A15) but just much much cheaper. Maybe less than half price.

If the next one is released with an M1 chipset, get it Day 1. It will be much faster, and a different experience. It will probably get, slowly/in time, the same "Pro features" as updates to the iPadOS software like the 4-Year-Old iPad Pro.

If the next one gets an A17, and it's overclocked, and it comes 10% cheaper MSRP. Then get it. But if it's not cheaper, and not substantially faster. Skip it. Look after yourself and your interest. Don't be the friends to any corporation.

I remember picking up the Mini 2, it lasted about three years before the display started deteriorating. Gladly, Apple doesn't use cheap displays anymore. The more recent iPads are the best tablets money can buy.
