The specs are pretty insane for the price - or rather, the price is pretty insane for the specs.

With this pricing, how tf can people still complains about the software support? 💀

Rookie Man, 20 Apr 2024Yes, the unisoc 5g processor is getting used.Btw the Unisoc 5G processor has been used previously in the Nubia Neo 5G.

Mills, 20 Apr 2024T765, 90hz LCD and 128GB is not a bad deal for 100 USD. For... moreWhy would anyone wants a G36 Mi A3 or G85 A05 if you can get a 5G Unisoc T765 that rivals G99
and also Samsung A05 doesn't even have a fingerprint,The Mi A3 only have a back fingerprint, those two device you've mention had a lot of cost cutting going on with them

Unisoc is really better compared to G99,Dimensity,810,Dimensity 6080,Dimensity 6100 and Dimensity 6300 at Entry Level to Lower Mid Range price range.
P.S. their T760 and T820 has insane GPU for below $200 price range compared to Dimensity 6100/6300 which hovers at $200 too

Nice! I sent this tip some hours ago and it's already here. =)

It's crazy to see how even entry phones got decent at last! Years ago, you had 2GB/3GB maximum, 64GB internal storage with HD display, 10W charging and an awful chipset. Now you get a 5G capable phone with a chipset that scores up to 405k on Antutu v9.0 for cheap.

Also, Umidigi revealed A15 Pro 5G, with AMOLED display, aluminum-titanium alloy frame, Dimensity 900 and more. They also had a new one, Umidigi M1 Pro 5g, a rugged phone with Dimensity 7300 and a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX766, same sensor used in Xiaomi 12 if I'm not mistaken.

                    no OIS, no deal

Ewww Umidigi. Last I heard of them they have no supoort at all and many people that bought their phones stuck with buggy phones without any software uodate at all.

Damn. Even 4 years ago 40% less would get you 16GB/2GB/4000mah.

I had an Umidigi F1 back in 2019. It made it to mid 2020 before various software glitches and hardware failures occurred....with zero support. Umidigi software support is ~ 1 year, unless it sells really well. When it was new, it was a solid phone. They didn't support carrier aggregation on the modem though, so data speeds were reduced.

Personally, I'd buy one of these as a backup device with the expectation that it's essentially disposable.

Too bad gsmarena doesn't cover entry level smartphones that much

It would be nice if you guys actually made an article at the end of the year for TOP category of the year

That is flagship/midrange/entry level based on improvement of features /innovation

I can tell you without a doubt entry level has the massive amount of gains with more full android OS, increasing UFS 2.2 adoption , 50mp cameras, higher Refresh rates crazy storage even 256gb etc, faster charging

This is actually very impressive for this price point.

                                I am absolutely mindblown

That gsmarena is covering global sources mobile electronics show at all

Id usually have to watch notebook Italia or charbax on YouTube to get my fix this time of the year

                                  $10 5G phones are coming. 🙃

Wow this looks interesting as a secondary phone.

even if it comes with android 10, you won't notice any differences on low budget phones, unlike on overpriced ones.

Looks exactly like a Redmi, especially with that flash design.
