Blackview Hero 10 will be the world's cheapest foldable when it launches next month

19 April 2024
It will even undercut the recently launched nubia Flip.

Doogee Flip seems interesting, but they need to improve A LOT the design and construction since it broke and eas removed from the booth lol at least they seem to have another model that seems to be more expensive, but anyway...

Blackview looks way more polished, even more than that Energizer Flip.

CrazyTechie, 20 Apr 2024They confirmed the battery, it's 4000mAh. Yeah, here's the proof:

I guess that means one thing. Local brand foldables are coming and it's a horrifying thought

better than nubia flip. the chipset may not be the best for a foldable though.

I think getting the Razr 40 makes more sense. Everyone focuses on the 40 Ultra and completely overshadows the vanilla model.

the lack of support for software is not a bother when a device has a snap soc as you can install a custom rom, with a mediatek or other soc you cannot do that and are stuck with whatever software they push on you. otherwise it's an ok device for the price. i'll never get one though as none have a 3,5mm.

Last year a flip phone with the same design was announced by Ulefone. (https://youtu.be/lw8d18vEmBc 6:49) I guess this is an ODM design? Same with the Energizer one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxkdgc0i6qQ 6:05)

the priorities for the spec sheet here were totally wrong.

I don't mind having Android 13 out of the box. But when a brand don't give a single support for the software, that's where you can see the price you have to pay to get such a low price.

Kinda missed opportunity to use D6080/D6100+ which supports 5G (or maybe Unisoc chipset with 5G?). But eh nvm, with that pricing, I would not complain about anything lol.

At least it's got an ultrawide.

Interesting package. Why even mention the resolution though, not even the nubia flip can render the full resolution of the sensor with that plastic lens.

Would love a durability test between this and every other flip phone. Would be really interesting.

The snapdragon in the nubia is miles ahead of this things chip.

They cut the wrong corners here, especially that 108mpx camera looks silly when the chip is that weak and screen 60hz.
