samsung's fans are rationalizing while the critics take the opportunity to say anything to mock samsung and its loyal consumers.

AnonD-155379, 22 Jun 2013I would be upset too if I owned an S4. This is why I don't ... moreHow much the phone is worth in your own opinion ruins the experience for you if it's not enough. Even if it works amazing and the user experience is good?
I love your logic

It's Korea only, but I also think they should wait a year and chill. Or just use the faster chipset and LTE-A in the Note 3. I agree that this "variant" of the S4 is a silly idea.
It's kinda like the Iphone 5S came out 2 or 3 months after the Iphone 5.

I would be upset too if I owned an S4. This is why I don't own a Samsung phone. Coming up with newer models/versions in short spans of time lowers the value of older models/versions. And that diminishes the ownership experience. The company doesn't seem to care for this.

Also Galaxy S4 is made of very thin and cheap plastic that breaks easily, unlike Lumia 928's polycarbonate which is used in bullet proof glass. Also Galaxy S4 has one cheap and light microphone, while Lumia 928 has 3 HAAC high ampitude microphones.

It's come to this. Consumerism at its worst. It's no longer based on needs but on ego. People buying gadgets for the wrong reasons. They find security in having the best toys!? The world needs to see a shrink.

That specs of s4 and experience you saying are automatically ancient & fossil once a new version has announced or release. Your s4 is already old and needs a replacement wether you just bought it last week or month.

How much faster is this one? It loads Facebook or Twitter 0,004 seconds faster? If you have the "old" one, good. If you are going to wait for the "new" one, also good. If you have a phone that is loading the same page a second slower, also good, your life doesn't depend on it unless you have no life. Download speeds also depend more on what you can get (2G, 3G coverage, wifi etc) than on the phone. I would never buy anything right after the release anyway, it's always better to wait a few months for bug fixes.

Silver, 22 Jun 2013Samsung is delivering CHOICES to the Consumers also if i ha... moreThe point is it also runs on a more powerful chipset, and this only two months after SGS4 release. How would you like your phone to be completely renewed only after 2 months.
It sort of demonstrates Samsung's attitude towards its customers. Sales are already disappointing by the way, and Samsung are probably already starting to lose customers as this attitude isn't new.

Samsung's saturating the market like Nokia did during their heyday. Way too many releases and redundancy.
