Honestly this was to be expected, Tiktok is just too much of a competition to Meta and Youtube, take note that both facebook and youtube even tried tiktok's short videos with the youtube shorts and facebook reels and no one is batting an eye about it. Ban on Huawei and ban on Tiktok is just the same (well the only difference is that Huawei made deals to iran which they admitted or being force to, we will never know but if true well that is a ground to sanctions) US tech companies are becoming too weak to compete with the Chinese and the US solutions was to control the competition with their massive influence that they should not have in the first place. I will not be surprise if sleepy joe tried to convince his pets I mean allies to also ban tiktok because of BS security issues (Tiktok is just too much for facebook and instagram to handle) and his pets would not have a choice but to agree. Lastly, if the US thinks that Tiktok is worst, then look at instagram comments. Instagram comments never fails to make me laugh. Another is why is the US forcing bytedance to sell the app? If it was a security risk then just freaking throw it out of the country, so this alone confirms that other US social media apps cannot handle tiktok when it comes to competition and we all knew that Uncle Sam can destroy a whole freaking country just because it does not get what it wants.

I remember after one of the school shootings in the US, a young person told Trump that guns aren't legal in Australia and that there have been zero school shootings. Trump just stared blankly at him. Glad the US has its priorities right...not.

US government is one step closer to total authoritarianism. And yet, there are fools who don't see the amount of control that is gripping their lives. They have your free speech, they have your home, money and jobs. If you don't believe me, just walk to your local public park and side-walks. Next level up will be the introduction of digital currency. Congratulations! Hope US citizens will be able to see the next century as one single democratic nation.

[deleted post]The TikTok bill is part of the foreign aid package for Ukr/Isr/Taiwan. Biden vetoing it would cause massive problems. It took them 6 months to get the aid bill passed dude
