    But I agree that 15.5 or 14.5mm will feel just as oversized two watches thick.

    On the other hand if a watch sized 7mm went 6mm, it certainly would be noticeable.

      Likely more to come, but all signs point to this being a major design evolution for the Apple Watch.

        Watch this be a new feature, it being 10-15% thinner and Apple making it seem like a big deal.Just for reference: Series 9 (both versions) are 10.7mm thick.

        10% less than 10.7 is 9.63mm
        12.5% less than 10.7 is 9.37mm
        15% less than 10.7 is 9.1mm
        You probably won't notice anything if you had both side by side. 1mm can be seen by the human eye but not at all noticeable!

          Well anything that can make the smartwatches less oversized is welcome. They are practically ALL two watches thick, well beyond 10mm.
