Having 15 Pro Max (wife), 11 Pro Max (daughter), S21 FE (myself) and Xiaomi 13T (myself) in the household, I can say the S21 FE is the one to suffer from lags the most often, especially when using gestures.
S21 FE's battery life also quite bad despite doing everything I can to improve it. Usually i am getting less than 5 hours SOT (60Hz, 5G off) compared to 8 hours on my 13T (120Hz, 5G off).

This is my first time u... moreI'd go apple over samsung at this point, if its android then either oppo, xiaomi, Motorola probably main 3 I'd go for (or honor, essentially just slightly worse huawei phones with usually better useable features).
I had a pixel 6 pro, got rid of it for an oppo find x5, still no issues and runs quicker and more stable than the pixel ever did. Personally i find iphones slower than this device from actual iphones i use/used (iphone 11, 12, 13, 13pm, 14. my ex, close friends, mum, stepdad and sisters own one of these phones, 15 series possibly could change this) but if you get in to the whole eco system then its the way to go, still better than getting any galaxy or pixel phone and it'll give you slightly more useable festures like an actual secure ToF biometric unlock, that alone is worth more than those other 2 companies.

I wonder if the Open Handset Alliance still working as intented? Their website is not updated since 2011. The aim of the alliance was to get Android to all members there in a similar way with features and so on.
Now it seems like Samsung got all the Good stuff. And brands like Sony, Asus, Nothing, Motorola, Oppo, OnePlus and so on will be left behind.
I dont like it. Maybe in the future its only 3 mobile brands left in US and Europe. iPhone, Samsung and Google Pixel..

I was just pointing out the sad reality of Samsung and Google's decisions.
Also, I don't see the reason behind the hate for Apple, by calling them 3 years behind you're kind of devaluing them. they're on par with everyone else nowadays and I'd say that's what's truly sad, Android used to destroy Apple overall and now apart from the top of the line flagships, android can only match Apple at best like if the base iPhones have 90-120 hz displays they'd wipe the floor with most android competition for example. Chinese manufacturers should work on 2 things, pricing and availability. Samsung is popular because they have great availability and their pricing is good due to the ludicrous amounts of discounts people get. Basically Samsung sells phones for half the price of their Chinese competitors sometimes and imo at that point Samsung phones are worth it.

Normal people use only one p... moreThat's a valid point, normal people use only one phone at a time but the head of the mobile division being fine with using a subpar phone is a bit of a funny thing to me that's it. Of course he cares about other phones by the company, only cus of the profit. He's a businessman first and foremost and Samsung today is what it is cus of him I'd say, a sad copy of Apple, losing all its uniqueness just to appease the most amount of people with the least amount of stuff.

Sure Xiaomi has better hardware for a cheaper price, but in return you get an ad riddled mess of an OS.
People care more about software than hardware.

jiyen235, 26 Apr 2024Apple has become more hip as time went on, reducing the res... moreNo its just samsung and google that are doing this, my oppo phone has been pretty flawless, on the most recent android version and has useable featuresets and has had features it took android to implement years later, same could be said for my old huawei p40 pro (featureset and hardware was 2nd to none) its seriously just samsung and google/pixels and its now apparent with how android will turn out (samsung is literally married to them now).
For me using an iphone (any iphone from XS which a mate has to iphone 15 and everything inbetween) is like using "good" android phones about 3 years ago, just how it feels using them, way too many frustrating interactions and backwards os design, hardware is solid (everyone i know except about 2 people have iphones or galaxy phones), makes sense with google and samaungs behaviour this way, they are just "the iphones of android" and because they are the "popular, non chinese" brands and yes, people still believe iphones and galaxy/pixels arent spying and stealing data and its all and every chinese device (its how manipulated people are now) so the main public fall in to the buying trap and praise, in my opinion, average quality, because popular (seeing iphone sales dropping because of this, no real improvements but brand recognition sells the devices).

Whereas Roh's S23/S24 uses Oneplus 12R level main cam and the other cams are worse than the Oneplus 12's cam, basically not a top tier flagship. The S24 is severely nerfed compared to let's say, the S10. It's funny that Roh uses this nerfed phone, goes to show Samsung themselves don't care too much about high quality stuff like the hardware on the Ultra, they'd have been content with selling us S24 hardware at S24 Ultra prices if it were possible.
