Just my opinion, 26 Apr 2024Ugh, AI this, AI that... can we talk about something else f... morenope, AI is the future because it allows you to do the least amount of work and get the most amount of results, why work when you can let machines do it for you? AI features are gonna be open at first but become more restrictive, as seen by Google and Samsung's plan of making it a paid service after a while. AI is where the money's at.
Google and Samsung are chasing the money but Chinese brands are chasing innovation yet they're the ones at risk of being banned at any moment. Gotta love the US and it's consumer friendly strategies!!11

Super Android 22, 25 Apr 2024I mean i think most of us here have realised samsung and go... moreApple has become more hip as time went on, reducing the restrictiveness and adding features and Android is becoming the opposite. Apple played the long game and are winning and Google and Samsung, by not following their core principles which led to their success, wonder why they aren't as successful as Apple in terms of flagship sales.

Consumers: We don't give a ****!
How about they implement the basics before messing with AI such as ToF sensor, color spectrum sensor, and SD slot among other things.

As LONG as Google REMOVES:
Google Sign in from the Google SYNC then I'll be VERY happy. I ROYALLY HATE this function as I'd like to logon to a few websites and services such as LinkedIn and regardless of the pop-up This 'feature/fckure' always automatically tries to create a new account and sign in 1 time.
STOP this CRAP Google!

jiyen235, 25 Apr 2024everyone in the twitter comments is talking about the Roh... moreHe probably uses S24 or even S23. I think of TM as a guy who doesn't have the latest phone bc he owns the company. Tim of Apple uses a yellow (yes, yellow) 15 Pro, lol.
I would probably use an S23 Ultra but hate the curved screen

PepperPot, 25 Apr 2024Samsung needs to work on battery innovation. Not this AI no... moreWhy not both? But I would prefer a better power/battery optimized phone to for sure.
I'm sure Samsung works on many things, but still we only get minor, minor upgrades on each release = lack of competition 🤨

They should be like brothers to fight back that greedy fruit with zero innovation but only gimmicks.

I mean i think most of us here have realised samsung and google have been in bed with each other for a while now lol, just straight up taking over the android eco system by force and it HASNT improved anything, in fact its probably slowed down progress on android by literal YEARS.
All samsung is now (and you can see it so clearly) is a money hungry comgloberate that is in way too many pockets of other powerful people/companies/goverments and its getting worrying.
Apple, the most bland and mind controlling company around, has more flair, personality and heart that what samsung has become and the main thing samsung now brainwash people in to thinking is that "a.i." and "updates" are the only thing phones need when the fact is A. Samsung has had the most security breaches and data leaks on their devices other than apple (so they are the most unsecure android platform to use) and B. Their phones are just broken with the amount of fixes and updates they seem to need/problems carried over because of the exynos chip (that tensor also suffer the exaxt same issues, i know i was a pixel user). So glad i dont need 2 updates a month because my phone and company get the software sorted 1st time so never any issues.
Very scary path for us android users at the mo, going to become just the samsung show and we're almost there.

everyone in the twitter comments is talking about the Roh's phone lmao, even he uses the base S24/A35/A55 I can't even tell cus of the dumbahh design. Seriously, why do this? Like I'm looking at THE TM Roh and thinking "wow he's using a cheap ahh phone lmao". Apple does the similar design thing but gets away because they shifted the camera module placement on the base iPhones, changed up the bezel sizes and have 3 cameras for the Pro Phones. Only the S Ultra phone is different looking.
So yeah rant aside I can think of a few different reasons for him using this phone :
1.) Ultra is too big, valid reason.
2.) Ultra is too uncomfortable due to its flat boxy design. The S21 Ultra was so comfy to hold and the S22 Ultra was relatively comfortable to hold due to its curved sides but the S23 Ultra was uncomfortable to hold for me compared to the S22 U and I can't imagine how bad the S24 U would be due to its flat sides. Such a huge phone NEEDS a curved back. Like Samsung did the flat back thing with the S6, went back to a curved back on the S7 and the made the curve even bigger on the later phones, why? Because it was more comfortable to hold. Grip is sort of worse on curved phones but you're gonna slap a case on anyways so it's a moot point.
4.) He doesn't care about the differences. Or most likely doesn't even know about the differences apart from the obvious design differences and camera hardware that is available like for example let's say the better main cam for example and stuff. Pretty sure, from the way Samsung processes their photos, that these guys don't know anything that isn't overprocessed till it looks like it was taken on a Nokia 3310 or something. The hardware has remained stagnant since the Note20 Ultra days, just wow man.
Anyways, instead of so much AI stuff I think they should try to make a bendable display that bends outwards, so that you can unbend it to get a flat display for content consumption and a curved display for gestures. Ever using the S7 Edge I've loved the curve because of its usability, it's far comfier to use a curved phone and I haven't had much problems with mistouches. The light reflections while watching content is annoying af and that's why I think it'd be great to be able to get the best of both worlds.

BigDisplay, 25 Apr 2024This circle to search hmmm, does anyone even use it, I trie... moreI would sometimes if I wasn't forced to enable stupid Google app which I absolutely don't use. If Circle to search was using Bixby Vision, but on screen, I'd be super excited. But having to use Google, ugh, not so much.
Also for me, Ai features are excited for as long as they work in "on-device only" mode. I'm not interested in "cloud" Ai at all.
