If you by neutralized don't mean that it bridges the gap of the more powerful chipset, which is my point in the conversation of the Inifinix vs. the Poco - and all the other benefits it has over it, then what did you mean? It really doesn't neutralize anything, compared to the Poco.
In any case. Even the very few, always connected, e-sports players on budget smartphones, don't have to use the fastest charger available and when the battery is fully charged and one is still stationary connected to a charger and gaming, it doesn't develop anywhere near the same heat when fully charged and still plugged in and gaming, as if plugged in and charging at 20% battery capacity.
Sure, bypass charging is a good thing. Nobody is disputing that. However the downsides of not having it seems greatly exaggerated in this comment section.
For e-sports, the fixed elements causing burn-in is much more likely do ruin ones smartphone experience and replacing the screen is much more expensive, and complicated, compared to replacing the battery. Just as an example.

you have to suffer, 30 Apr 2024Poco does not have bypass charging which is a con.Not including bypass charging in a smartphone isn't a con. Marketing a phone to have bypass charging, and not delivering it - that would be an example of a con.

If serious with e-ports, the long time effect isn't valid as after long time, the phone gets replaced regardless. . .

Waraduk, 30 Apr 2024Imagine gaming phone without 3.5mm jack audio yeah, gaming without 3.5mm jack? not in my wishlist. resorting to phone speaker is not ideal as fingers can cover the speaker grill and makes it sound like a cassette tape. aka muffled sounding.
perhaps infinix has to include usb c earphones and maybe they also add an adapter for other 3.5mm enabled devices such as headphones and aux cord. which something other brands rarely do. but you take the risk of wearing the usb c connector even faster than only using it for charging and wired data transfer.

In an e-sport context your phone is stationary especially when considering this device is the official tool for this event it's it's even more so stationary
So while the Poco is better performance wise it's not going to beat bypass that doesn't charge the battery whatsoever in the long run

IpsDisplay, 29 Apr 2024But the bypass charging alone will make most of the strengt... moreNo, the bypass charging will not improve the 8200's performance by 50%
No, the bypass charging will not increase the screen brightness, nor will it make it capable of displaying 12-bit colors.
No, the bypass charging will not make the UFS 3.1 storage catch up to UFS 4.0
When unplugged they both will use the battery until it is time to charge again. At which point the Poco will charge faster and be ready for more wireless gaming faster. After all this is a mobile device, not a stationary one.
It is neat for non-PC and game console gamers, that only have their smartphone to game on, that this has bypass charging. However it does in no way level it up to the Poco as a result. It would be a better alternative than a competing device running the same chipset and does not have it.

The Tech Watchdog, 29 Apr 2024The thing about 7200 is... it has a decidedly weak 2+6 CPU ... moreI didnt say they should use the 7200, I said the chip maker should update it means a new lineup, like they updated the 8200 into the 8300, then 7000 new chip perhaps a 7300 which is a considerably more powerful chip but stays cheaper
2 performance cores is more than enough actually so maybe use 2xA720 and the problem with the 7200 was the weaker gpu so use the MP6 variant for the 7300
