It's basically "back to D1200/1300/8050" era in terms of performance inefficiency and inevitable heating, so D8200 is the better choice given that the D8300's performance is so chaotic (and it throttles in 3DMark stress tests).

I can have better battery health and play infinitely longer and at lower temperatures too

The Poco will beat in gaming performance no doubt but if the battery is dead then that's 0fps

The 8300 (and its Mali G615-MC6) in the Poco is about 50% more powerful overall compared to the 8200
(and its Mali G610-MC6) in the Infinix.
In addition games will load faster in the UFS 4.0 storage of the Poco, vs. the slower UFS 3.1 in the Infinix

Also the screen of the Poco gets brighter and can produce a lot more colors.

Price is the only thing the Infinix have to go on. For gaming, it is a lower tier device than the Poco.

Good to see Transsion is pushing boundaries. Definitely a good option for gamers looking for performance on the cheap.

Official website is silent. However, in the photos, the upper portion of the phone has somewhat of a hole, near the "Sound by JBL" marking, but this most probably may be the 3.5mm jack or rare case, it may be some infrared port, can't say. Specs say it has IR port.
So, its not clear at the moment, but I'm very hopeful that at least the 3.5mm is present.

What they should have done is got rid of that punch hole camera at the front, and used UFS 4.0 storage.

Unless this phone is priced cheaper than Poco X6 Pro then people should just buy that one instead.
