808Keys, 29 Apr 2024The 60&120hz refresh rate debate is so annoying. I real... moreI really don't care. If a 400 dollar phone has OLED 120hz, an iPhone can.

"Our 60Hz Retina Pro XDR display is better than other's 120Hz Display because they donot have XDR in their names.
Also here at Apple we care enthusiastically for the environment as seen by our presentation,we plant our presentators in the field during recording...can you believe that?
We are removing unnecessary & non-environment friendly features like Chargers,Wired jack,Flat uninterrupted panels, out of our care for you & environment.
Also here at Apple user experience & privacy is at the core, that's why iPhones are 6% better for your privacy according to our statics.
So just relax man,our customers know exactly what they are getting from us,that's why we've consistently highest selling phones as iPhones every year.
Now this concludes this conversation & buy yourself latest iPhone right now."

If you use 120Hz it's not easy to go back to 60Hz.. Anyways I think the vanilla and plus models do not offer good value in today's time..

"with the Pros retaining their 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate while the vanilla and Plus will stick to 60Hz panels."
This settles it. Buying a 13 Pro has way more value than buying a current gen. Vanilla models have no telephoto and no 120hz. A 13 Pro can be found for around 450 dollars while a brand new sealed iPhone 15 is 799. I was even informed with every iPhone release, the prices go up in EU countries.
TL;DR, older Pro iPhones are a better buy than current vanilla phones. Make vanilla iPhones with 120hz and make all your OS open-source. That is the day hell freezes over.

Seriously? The vanilla and plus models will still stick with 60Hz panels? What's wrong with Apple...
