Anonymous, 25 Jun 2013It is indeed a good product. But your comment on tired of ... moreAs long as Note 3 has similar design as Note 2, I am jumping ship :)

I don't care about others' comments if it make sense or not, it's my own money. I tired of samsung design and i have the rights to put where my money is

But your comment on tired of same design Samsung makes no sense. Their Galaxy line is that. A line. It follows a similar design. All lines flagships do that. Look at this as compared to many Sony ones. Same shape and now same glass thing going.
As for battery. Let's hope they have some magical secret for that 3,000MAH battery

There is no LED Flash in the phone which is the main drawback and even the camera is just 8 megapixel but we already have 13 in the market :(

ps.... those bezels are massive... especially length ways (the Z ultra is 18.9mm top and bottom, the note 2 is 14mm top and bottom).

In its defense I guess this is to allow easier handling.

yea every new phone since the S we've been told no more bad viewing angles

I've wanted a Sony phone so bad but the ridiculously bad screen just ruin it, Nothing compares to HTC screens. I gave back my Xperia S couldn't stand the horrid colors and washed out display. Z is just as bad

Awesome device! I really enjoyed my Xperia Z and no regret not buying S4. Think I will be upgrading Z to ZU instead of Note 3 unless Note 3 is larger and slimmer

Time that Sony introduced a good product into the market. Sony Z poor viewing angles, Sony Z tab poor battery, long charging time and teeny speakers. So my hopes are on Sony to deliver without the above faults in Ultra, had enough of Samsung with same design. Sony please help us to have a choice.

The idea is good but why that huge? How you want to carry that thing in a Pocket? Only MC Hammer got no problem with that. And why only 16GB of internal storage? I don't get it.

Looks good but is a bit big for me personally. I think the note 2 or just over is the limit.

The main downside i can see is that the battery is only 3050 mah... personally it should be a round 4000 even if it added an extra mm or so to the body.

3,000 mAh battery with a 6.4" 1080p screen, I really hope that fancy display technology and the new processor makes up some of that small capacity.

AnonD-61409, 25 Jun 2013Quite interesting. I like the ZU, I really don't care much ... moreI pretty much agree. It's a lovely and awesome device. I also quite would love to try the K900.

But the 3,000MAH battery is not so slightly underrated thing people are being harsh about. Though I agree again it's not the main let down like no flash"??" and 8mp drop is not too bad...But the battery. Moderate use in a day is not the use of a phablet. We are talking a 6.44inch 1080p and Snapdragon 800 cpu. Curious to see how the Triluminos effects battery though.

Quite interesting. I like the ZU, I really don't care much for the camera at 8 and not 13 mpx, but, no flash? Can't see why.
I don't mind too much it's size. I think for callings it'll be almost a must to get its new Bluetooth headset accessory (or some other compatible). That should solve the size "problem" as it'll be easier to operate the phone with two hands, and one if needed.
And it's not meant to go in a pocket, it could fit well in a waist case n.n

All and all, very tempting device. Has it all I'd like n.n Battery should last at least a day of moderate usage, Sony wouldn't release it like that without having tested it. And there's always opportunities to recharge, because it's not a camping device, so please stop complaining about the battery. What is the worst lack here it's the flash. And hadn't read a word about it's toughness, (screen and back) as with the Z they did spoke about it at firsts moments.

Anyway, this looks like it's the prettiest of the biggest ones till now. The second might be the Lenovo K900. It's very nice too, and its Intel dual core atat 2.0 Ghz should perform as good as the Snapdragon 800, as the single core one in the Razr i already performs as good as the top smartphones available (Note 2, S3, iPhone 5, Etc) today.
There's time yet, I hope Lenovo releases an international version for the K900 soon, or it'll be a pity. I'd go for the ZU in that case.

                                    - L.

It's always the same. There is either one troller of Samsung devices or none at all. What this is however usually is Sony trollers. They troll. As soon as a few people make a statement and it's not in favor of Sony "IE the very logical statement of an inferior battery or lack of flash" Some Sony fan pops on talking about Samsung trollers trying to ruin it and then go on to say how much "insert Sony product" dominates anything anyone has ever seen.

Only for another Sony fanatic to come in and see that and repeat....Making and endless list of Sony trolls pointlessly and falsely accusing and bashing.
