I see so many showing professional comments about this phone's display, battery, size, etc when it is not even released and none of you had played with it.

Sony has done a fantastic job this time to let competitors know they can be great and other phone users worry about their phone not comparable with Sony's new phone.

The harder you attempt to diss Sony, the more it shows that you are worried.

If it will have a bigger battery then it will also be thicker. And everyone here will complain how it is too big and thick. For those who are not satisfied wish you all the best. Hope Note 3 will answer everyones dream phablet. But 1 thing is sure it will always look cheap when put side by side with this device.

When will these manufactures learn that more hardware is just great for games and eating more battery. Android lags because the system and launcher is not optimized. My wife has 1ghz cortex a5 processor running gingerbread and go launcher and I assure you it's faster and smoother than any Sony or Samsung launcher. I have resorted to launcher 8 on my Xperia P. Now I'm lag free.

Yeah! Earphone jack on the right (or left) edge - this is genius! If you use earphones with straight (not L shaped) connector, this will be veeeeery comfortable. :)))

And not just that, i assure you this produces much more natural, vivid colors than your favorite amoled display.

Yes i agree, that was unfortunate. Looks like Sony is returning to their old ways, with somewhat incomplete products, like the missing card slot on Xperia U. Here in SE Asia small 3G tablets are the main phone for more and more people, then people need ok can with led flash, not the poor 3.2mp cam without flash like on the Galaxy Tab 3 7. I have friends who decided to get Galaxy Mega 5.8 instead of Tab 3, just to get an LED flash (and better cam). By leaving out the flash Sony has positioned the XU nearer the small tablets in this one way, in every other way it's not.

Oh well, unless the hard pointed object (pencil or sharp things) can give pressure control to achieve variations of pen widths on the fly, I'm passing of this device. I find any device with an active Wacom digitizer (not CAPACITIVE)more productive for drawing or creating realism for Adobe Photoshop Touch, the Autodesk Sketchbook Pro or Ink.

The idea of drawing on Post-Its and being recorded on the Ultra is Ok for quick construction details or line art drawing. At least you can keep actual drawings on paper. You just need to be careful of not smudging the screen with lead pencil or ink marks. Sony missed the opportunity of integrating an active digitizer system on this one for art enthusiast like me, aside from the hard point input. And a removable battery would have have attracted those who would need extended usage time unplugged to any power source. I love that it's waterproofed, but it's not offering me features that I need leading me away from my Galaxies Note II and 8.0.

AnonD-69171, 25 Jun 2013Pencil will do good and more comfortable than S-Pen or what... moreSo, where do you put the pencil? In your pocket, beside your phone. Samsung has gave an option to put the pen inside the phone, no need to carry two devices separately. Still I like the sony phablet.

This phone really looks is not made for taking pictures so good, anyway its a phablet much more on office working etch purposes. If you want superb camera and picture then go buy a DLSR, or probably wait for honami, or maybe just dont coz brainless people really dont need SMARTphone.

AFAIK snapdragon s800 consume less power than S4Pro lets waiting for battery review later.
