The Xperia 10 VI got rid of its predecessor's telephoto camera.

      Zoom lens also gone. 2x zoom achieved by pixel binning of the main camera sensor

            Because for people that want a big behemoth of a phone there is the other 95%+ of the market that caters them.

              I'm suspecting the main camera on the 10 VI is the same as the 5 V.

              If it is, it will finally justify the high price of that midrange.

              Knowing Sony, it will come with the SD 6 Gen 1

                Besides all noice is the camera better than a 10 year old middle range camera?

                  If it's 6.5" quad HD 19.5:9 it most likely still is the highest resolution screen on a 2024 flagship I'm guessing around 540ppi

                    All these years,they had the chance to sell their 21:9 cinema format xperias with official kickstand. And now, when they dropped to in the middle of nowhere 19:5:9 aspect ratio, now they figured it's the best time.

                    But sarcasm aside, it looks pretty in renders, as every xperia before.

                      My hope is that Sony goes for a high resolution camera for the vario periscope lens.

                      Because if they do that, at the 85-170mm variable range, applying a 2x crop from the center of the sensor should give the phone the ability to go all the way to 340mm, or almost 15x zoom while still retaining a lot of quality.

                        I only expect a panel of at least 6.8 because that phone, a priori, is too small for my hands, come on, Sony, release an ultra version

                            This goes better and better. Hopefully, with the right camera system, this will be my next phone. And, yes, 4 years of software updates would be great.
