        i just hope it's more powerful than current rog ally and steam deck otherwise i once again won't care for it besides some of the exclusive and ignore playing 3rd party titles on it

Just because a console is old does NOT in anyway degrade the quality of its game library!! You only have to look at the ps2 and ps3, those consoles are classics and are still in use to this day thanks to the unique games they had.

                Nintendo has many exclusives which are among the best and beloved game series in the world and they are very well optimized to run on the switch. The same cannot be said of the PC titles that even struggle on rtx 4090s due to bad optimization.

                          The switch hardware is practically ancient, many games lagging in the console and that includes first party game the likes of even zelda
                          And not to mentioned the hardware was already pretty much ancient by the time the switch launched and 10 years later? Its practically an antique
                          The switch really needs a new upgrade 5 years ago by the time the 9th gen console released, the reason nintendo released the switch mid gen back then was simply because the wii u a disaster so they revised it into the switch

While the original switch was getting spoken about internally under a codename as early as 2015, the formal reveal was June 2016 and the release being March 2017 - so an 8 month window.
                                I would have to imagine the Switch 2 would get a similar timescale. If you make it too long then the hype will die down (and too short won't allow enough hype to build).
                                If we get the formal announcement by spring next year I'd expect the launch to not be later than 2026.

If something is released 9-10 years after its predecessor, it's a new version not a "Pro" version of the previous console. The PlayStation 4 was released November 15, 2013 and the PlayStation 4 Pro on November 10th, 2016 which is less than three years. That is an upgrade. 10 years is a different generation. Please think logically.
