Who says next Nexus has to be a high-end?
Google could release a mid-range Nexus and leave to Samsung and HTC the flagship devices.
If you think about it, also the previous Nexus weren't properly flagships: not the best display, not the best battery, far from being the best in benchmarks.

- this phone will have eindeed better performance with a 720p acreen which is enough for a phone and for the eye
- it will have a huge battery (probably 4000 mah) which is what people want these days more than performance (even my galaxy s3 is very speedy it only differ in games with big giants like s4 and htc one)
Dual core 1.7 krait are far enough for a stock android to run smooth will all apps and the 2 GB RAM is a welcome addition

Whats the mega hyped about this x phone?? I dont think this will be a game changer coz if its release, it will be just another android high end phone.

I have the razor hd..... It's a good phone with its battery but the bad thing is it does not receive any updates even thought it is powered by Google.... I'm still on 4.1.2
I either buy a Nexus as my next phone or try out and iphone for once

This is very google-inspired, definitely not a flagship type, will be priced just like Nexus 4.
Oh well.. U may find a better deal with Sony SP or ZR if u like midrangers with beautiful designs. But most people will go for specs these days especially when it's also affordable and unlocked, again, very much like any google offering.

See the logo and the circle around it...It matches the new Motorola logo with the color circle, this is probably the B&W version...

Since Google bought Motorola Mobility, you'd think that they would release a phone with good specifications but I'm yet to see one. It's kind of a joke that this X Phone was so hyped up to be a "game changer" when it's just another phone that should have been released in 2012.
