For everyone saying benchmarks are useless, meaningless or unimportant:
With not much knowledge about top smartphones hardware or specs but checking out and knowing how much score the 5+ top devices you can use benchmarks scores to determine an overall performance and tell whether the device you saw and liked or the one you can afford, etc will perform adequate ENOUGH for you.
How? I'd like to leave to you, the smart guys out there, the procedure of using this idea/method to determine the overall satisfaction you can get from a device using benchmarks scores, since you know about benchmarks.
Let me see some ideas, please.

I still made the right decision to buy the Galaxy S4.
Snapdragon 800 isn't that much better than the Snapdragon 600.

AnonD-129465, 27 Jun 2013You are trolling right? ois, optical zoom and 16mp with grea... moreCorrection: Motorola currently have the best batteries. Even though the Huawei Ascend Mate managed to surpass the Motorola RAZR Maxx battery capacity, it still needed a bigger size to fit all that mAh. It's a lot bigger yet it's only 750mAh bigger than that of the RAZR Maxx. Know your facts before saying something.

AnonD-129465, 27 Jun 2013You are trolling right? ois, optical zoom and 16mp with grea... moreThat ought to be one of the most ridiculous comments I've ever seen.
What batteries they put in tablets is irrelevant. 8000mAh, or 8000000uAh or 8000000000nAh actually say very little about battery capacity. For convenience, I'd just stick with saying that the battery has 8Ah but still it doesn't anything unless you specify the voltage. You see, an 8Ah@18V battery is much larger than an 8Ah@3.6V battery. So I'd prefer using Watt hours or Wh. If they can put an 82Wh battery into a phone and still maintain its slimness then by all means. Let's not forget that also battery technology is improving.
Then you go on ranting on the storage capacity. I think in the year of 2013, a phone with 128GB+ of internal storage shouldn't be something to rise the eyebrows about. A more considerable eyebrow riser is that it is 2013 and STILL the phones haven't passed the 256GB+ barrier of internal storage.
128GB of storage would hold maybe 4000 mp3s or 1-2000 flacs. But then you didn't account for high-definition video clips shot by the megapixel camera, computer programs and games and so on.
There is really no reason to hold off on the internal storage as the phone manufacturers appear to do. Fitting even 1TB of storage would be possible without affecting the form-factor of the phone. Also if people have more storage they will have a bigger need for on-line backup solutions and other cloud services so even telecom operators will benefit from larger storage in cell phones.
I think the major problem is that you are resistant to technological change and have lost touch with what people really want. You're a dinosaur and I'd recommend you to pursue your career somewhere else if you don't have a proper retirement plan already.

There will be a much faster SoC than s800 in 6 months, you can hold off and wait for a new version and you will eventually end buy nothing since technology is advancing so rapidly. ARMs will reach the processing power of an x86 core i5/fx8350 by the end of 2015.

I'm not disappointed with the score that Snapdragon 800 scored in benchmark. I'm just wondering what will happen if the Exynos 5 Octa 5410 clocked at the same clock speed as Snapdragon 800 ?? I know currently Exynos 5 Octa can get overheat easily but still under control. But if it clocked same clock speed as Snapdragon 800 it probably get burned but still I want to know the result when come to off paper comparison.
Hope that GSMArena can do something about this and post the result.
Thanks.

You are trolling right? ois, optical zoom and 16mp with great optic are in S4 Zoom. Its ugly as f@#! but its a sign of things to come.
6000-8000mah batteries? you asking for a tablet battery on a smartphone? Maybe they should put a car battery on S5. That would be awesome. I mean ok we have to carry it on a bag but the phone will last for weeks. Samsung has the best batteries.
I agree with materials exept if you mean glass. I dont want stupid easily breakable glass.
minimum 64? so you want a PHONE with 64GB on device, 128GB sd and 200GB on cloud. Because you just cant leave the house to go for drinks without your 100.000 tracks of mp3 collection.
