Whats the use of the benchmarks? Still lags, and only improve launch of apps by 0.0000000001sec.
Pointless.

Xperiaan, 26 Jun 2013didn't the Xperia Z Ultra scored more in antutu? I guess 4k... moreExactly, it's not a consumer production unit. My concern is they're doing something they learned form their Computer mfg unit and what many computer manufacturers did in the computer industry about 10 years ago. They basically tweaked the internals and OS on the pre-production units they supplied to the companies who ran the benchmark tests.
This took place for about a year before ZD, pc mag and others caught on. Then they all stopped and waited for production units. Same with the TPC benchmarks. Nobody pays attention to the TPC tests Oracle, Microsoft, IBM release because they've tweaked the machines to specifically perform better on the benchmark tests.
The final Xperia scores may be better on the production units but the only way to achieve that is if Sony is adding more memory and/or overclocking the internals.
I'm guessing this isn't the type of reply you were hoping for ;)

McLovin, 26 Jun 2013Nice scores. I'll just wait for S5. My S3 serves me well. N... moreThis is ONLY for the Korean market. As always Samsung keeps the best stuff at home while we pay premium for lower performance stuff.

i remember a time, not too long ago, where HTC was constantly being criticized for updating their flagship every 6 months usually with a "+" model, and therefor dissapointing their customers that where feeling cheated...
for how long is the S4 out yet? is it 2 months?
HOW ABOUT THAT.... :P
