Who says Sony ZU is not a phone, because it's very big?
It has all properties of a phone (calling, sms texsting and other, which you can't do with a tablet). So what if it's so big? It's a monster phone!

Bunch of ding dongs obsessed with useless benchmark results..WOW so what you scored a 30,000..My measly 2 year old dual core Galaxy Nexus barely hits 7000 on a good day yet feels as fast if not faster than any of the over fluffed quad/octa core android terds getting pumped out today..Oh and my brothers single core intel powered (Motorola-I)is the fastest android ive touched to date running shitty 4.0.4 ICS..

Nice scores. I'll just wait for S5. My S3 serves me well. No need to upgrade right now.

rcl4444, 26 Jun 2013This maybe, however the Z Ultra is a 6.44" phablet and... moreYou are wrong, it's better with multiple SOC's because you always have an advantage over the competition.
Now Samsung has Exynos and Snapdragon on the CPU side and MALI, PowerVR and Andreno on the GPU side, who can beat that ? :)

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2013Already exceeded by the Xperia Z UltraThis maybe, however the Z Ultra is a 6.44" phablet and not a phone...and we don't know what this S4 is clocked at.
Regardless though, it IS the same chipset so kudos to Sony.
Samsung needs to consolidate to one chipset for all markets (similar to iPhone). This SOC fragmentation not only upsets a lot of the market, it just makes support more of a nightmare meaning fewer long term updates and custom ROMs.

Not water resistant? Wait for the s4-svh... Active. Whatever. Coming soon is mini active, duos, advance, plus, and each with different variants of chipset. In case your confused, just get the Xperia Z.

Benchmarks make for nice graphs, but 12-14% improvement is not likely to be noticeable.
Particularly if the software is not optimized very well - the Galaxy IV exhibits slight stuttering despite its powerful processors, while phones like the iPhone and the HTC One manage to provide smoother experience with less power.

Pointless phone anyone hoping to Root their device and get a half decent rom on it, the vast majority of developers from the S3 and One X have already found a home with the M7 and S4.

But this version will be much more expensive than the original S4, I guess it will cost like 50-100 $ more.
So those who have bought the original S4 don't have to worry about since they paid the correct price for the original S4.
