Try to run Diablo immortal on a 4-5 years old device for example Samsung S10. Not possible not on a full detail and not without issues of lagging.
Same goes for many else. A 7 years old phone will struggle to run even facebook or tik tok without delay.

To me phones which gets longer OS update support should get equall in warranty too.
Having a 7 or 10 years support for updates and only 1 years of warranty in NON EU contries and 2 years in EU countries is garbage especially if your phone cost more than 1000.

Google's Tensor G4 SoC will be like SD 8 gen 1 or Dimensity D8xxx series.
So calling a hogh end device something with a mid class CPU s a big no.

Hopefully Google gets it all right this year. Proper battery, screens , hardware and software etc as there is always something wrong with the pixels at launch and after updates.

Pixels are beta versions that never quite make it to stable versions, let's hope these new pixels are stable and their Hardware match up to Apple and Samsung etc for once.

I guess I am the only one who hates this fully rounded corners/edges design.. hate this on iphone as well.

What I don't understand why not to drop the 128 GB memory option? 256 GB should be the minimum these days, especially if you shoot a lot of videos.

I think you would need to relax your criteria a little bit, if you wish to upgrade.

Personally, I have 6" (152.4mm) as my cutoff. Apple, Samsung and Google - all have options within that limit.

Anonymous, 14 May 2024You need to get your eyes checked asap. Not talking about the design 😉

I am not very convinced about the veracity of these leaks. But if true, Pixel 9 pro seems to be the most interesting phone of the lineup. It doesn't seem to be lacking in any feature compared to its bigger sibling.

Pixel 9 and 9 Pro XL seem to be an incremental update in terms of internals (Tensor G4, 4GB extra RAM), while camera hardware seems to be largely unchanged. Given that I prefer the design language of 8 series slightly better, these models don't excite me much.

By the way, the leaked display measurements of the three models are as under:

                                Pixel 9 - 6.24" - 1080 x 2424 - 425 ppi
                                Pixel 9 Pro - 6.34" - 1280 x 2856 - 493 ppi
                                Pixel 9 Pro XL - 6.73" - 1344 X 2992 - 487 ppi

I'm surprised that I'm the only one here that dislikes the new camera design. It just looks off. The design starts going downhill after the 6.
