While I appreciate advancements like variable refresh rates, I'm disappointed by the shift away from 21:9 cropped 4K displays.
Furthermore, the potential removal of features like the 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot raises concerns. These functionalities are essential for my user experience, and I hope they remain a priority.
Unfortunately, the current phone landscape seems to be prioritizing other features. Finding another phone that ticks all the boxes – exceptional image quality, a high-resolution 4K display with the right aspect ratio, and essential user-friendly features – might be a challenge, if not impossible. It feels like there are fewer and fewer options that cater to users who value these aspects the most.

If sony can make slim And light phone with dual front facing speakers, why rog 8 cant? I really hate rog 8 for being downgrade in speaker and punch hole department in sake of mainstream appeal argument.

Hoping for a special edition Sony phone with 4k display and 21:9 screen. Some people here are happy that we will not have what we need. There are too many phones out there for you. But for us now not even one with 21:9 and 4k.

I hope the aesthetics still maintained.
Both Samsung and iPhone have holes and "uneven" top and bottom screen is just plain eye sore.
Even the budget 10series are more elegant and aesthetically pleasing than those iPhone and Samsung camera cutout hole, looks like a big deadpixel / broken screen.
I hope Sony also support update at least 4 OS update

Good thing I have a Sony Xperia one Mark V
16 GB by 512 GB with a terabyte SD card.
Because if you would have told me that I would have been downgrading from my one mark three to a one Mark 6 I would have told you no thanks I'll go back to Samsung
