I suggest they take out the microsd card and jack as well so as not to offend the people who do not buy their phones.
Man, those jacks interfere with TWS operation and the microsd, despite being optional like the 3.5mm jack, messes up with the UFS storage operation. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Many of these 1080p from samsung cost $70-85.
Even if this panel is chinese, then maybe $55-60 saved per unit.
Any way, cheaper screen cost is nulified by ufs4.0 , 8g3 , new periscope.
In the end, price to make this phone may be same of mark 5.
I do not know how people here think that using simoler screen or SoC while keeping rest same can suddenly make retail price be reduced by $250-300, when these " cuts" are not worth $250-300.

I guess Sony leaned in too much of MKBHD suggestions of making the screens FHD+. Here's hoping to QHD+ or at least 1.5k. Otherwise it's just surprises one after another.

If this means the price will go down to ~900-100$, then its worth losing the 4K screen.
But we will see. If there's a 5 VI, it will probably get completely redesigned as a whole. Maybe it will become smaller like the S24 is
