And I'm not saying it just because it's Sony! Honestly, I don't even care about the aspect ratio. I love the compact form factor this phone brings. Hate the wide ones. I loved the size of Zenfone 9 and 10 and they weren't 21:9, but of course they had to duck it and bring that ugly slab called Zenfone 11 ultra nonsense.

Hope it's capable of 4k recording, brought back LED notification & 3.2 USB DATA with Display out else I will stick to my Xpeira 10 III until it dies & move to another brand.

Imx582 has about 30mm2. Using 2x zoom is like having 7.5mm2 area.
The previous was bit larger than this.

That is a two years old processor.

Doing what maths? Cropping is cropping. It will never be zoom. Cropping to a fraction of the sensor size drastically _reduces_ the amount of light gathered. Not the opposite.

even SD7+ gen 3 is midranger wich double the performance of regular SD7 gen 3... still it's considered midranger by Qualcomm themselve. SD6 gen 1 is nothing more than a rebranded SD695 wich is entry level !

Never mind that this phone is one of the largest 6.1 inch screen phones in the market
Does the 7+ gen 2 even get so hot ? I dont know as i have not done any heavy task or played a game for hours to see the phone hot while i have a phone with that chip in it
