It would be extremely unusual to use a 12 megapixel Quad Bayer RYB sensor or in pixel binning mode a 3 megapixel Bayer RYB sensor.

Nothing is confirmed by what a certain app states. As far as I know there aren't even officially published documents what the Imx 650 really is.

Honestly this phone looks great, but the price is way too much. It is DOUBLE the samsung galaxy s24. That is an insane proposal if you can buy TWO samsungs for the same price. They nailed the specs, design etc... but price really is quite outrageous.

Still loving my Xperia 1 iv, but I think this is the right time to start thinking about upgrading the phone. Unfortunately, there has been several reports about Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 being too hot, particularly on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

I would like to purchase another Sony phone after years of using different brand but I just cannot justify the price. I will buy the OnePlus 12 1TB/16GB RAM from China for a lot less and will flash it to Global version.
