So please give me the exact megapixel count, focal length, aperture, size of those so called by you "three" sensors. Just because "12MP" is there three times it doesn't mean that there are three sensors. The main sensor is able to do 12MP images at 120FPS, as well as 4K120 recordings. And, of course, because it's a 50MP unit, it has a Quad-Bayer mode to shoot 12MP photos. The other camera is your typical run-of-the-mill front camera.

            20.

            For portrait field of view (e.g. not an unflattering angle for faces, such as 20mm) you're effectively getting photos at 3 to 6 MP. Take that to a photo lab. They'll probably recommend a max print size of 6x8 inches or even 5x7.

            If a manufacturer chooses 30mm, you can get print quality portraits up to 9x12 with a crop.

            Besides, the corner/edge detail is nearly meaningless with such a wide aperture, unless you're photographing the inside of a ball. You might call it bokeh or vignette or pretty lens barreling or whatever. I call it space I hardly ever use that detracts from a subject at my sweet spot of 40 to 80 mm.

            Unless I'm photographing the inside of a house being sold. Then, by all means, wide angle like 20mm...

            (Someone correct me if my physics is wrong. Please. I want to know why anyone would choose this FOV/lens.)

              If it's ExmorT 1" sensor, I'll toss cash at my screen

                            1440p is 2.5k.
                            How to find 2k if 4k resolution is given?
                            Divide the horizontal and vertical pixel count by 2.
                            4k = 4096*2160 or 3840*2160
                            2k = 2048*1080 or 1920*1080
                            Why 2k or 4k?
                            4k means 4000 and 2k means 2000. It denotes the approximate number of horizontal pixels which are 4096 or 3840 in the case of 4k and 2048 or 1920 in the case of 2k.

                              It's possible because of 21:9 ratio display design..

                                this is what the 1 series should've been. Instead of saying they make photography focused phones, they could've differentiated by saying they make photography focused small phones. No one else has a 1 incher on a compact phone, so there's actual value in a phone like this.

                                I just wonder, how much are they gonna charge for this? 2k euros? 1.8k perhaps? Anything above the 1 VI's price would be horrible unless this 1 inch sensor has continuous zoom till 3x or something, for something like that even 2.5k euros would be justified. Sony just charges high prices for dated tech. At least the Pro-C would be somewhat unique in that it has no direct competitor so yeah the pricing would make more sense than whatever the 1 VI is going for.

                                        I mentioned this in my other comment below:

                                        "FHD 16:9 --> 1920x1080 (almost 2K on width; also known as 2K; Cinema 2K 2048 × 1080)
                                        QHD 16:9--> 2560x1440 (2.5K on width; also known as 1440p; overall 4 times pixels on 720p)
                                        4K UHD 16:9 --> 3840x2160 (almost 4K on width and in Cinema 4K 4096 × 2160 )

                                        This is valid only for 16:9 aspect ratio screens. Nowadays smartphone displays have odd 20:9/19.5:9 screen sizes --> Though FHD+ and QHD+ might have the same 1080 and 1440 on height, they will have different width (reason why "+" is mentioned; no single name is agreed upon)

                                        Now coming back to arguments here; 2K means FHD+ and it should have almost 2K pixels on width with minimum 1920p. Once the height on width increased significantly depending on aspect ratio and reaches 2.5k on width and 1440p on height, it is no more 2K. Most of these resolutions are defined by the overall number of pixels present. You can't call 4000p width and 1p height a 4K because you only have overall 4k pixels on the screen where as true 4K will have almost or over 8,294,400 pixels."
