Of course its going to get iOS7 and for other question, very good chances, i dont see reaso why wouldnt it be compatible with all of the apps, at least 95% etc. When even iPhone 3gs can run almost any apps available.

AnonD-1825, 30 Jun 2013I throw this number from hat, but maybe 90% users who buy s... morebut your clearly an iphone fan, with limited point of view, as you guys all only see IOS and nothing else, i am only pointing out android because that is my current OS, and before that i was on IOS and symbian so cannot comment on WP8, yes the iphone 4 or 4s is not to bad, but it is 2 years behind modern tech, so what is the chances of it being compatible with all the apps on the apps store, what about compatible with IOS 7, and that is my argument why should a so called 2 year old device, and just rebranded with new colour shell and then still be sold for no doubt at least £300-330, yes it is budget compared to iphone 5 or 5s they are usually more like £529 new, but come on, it is in no way a budget so i simply pointed out that you could get any other phone with much better specs for a better price, fair enough if you do not like android though, but you cannot go around simply claiming IOS is the best just because you are a fan, personally if you wish to pay more, be more restricted, less media support, less connectivity support, lack of design UI, customization, lack of file management, poor bluetooth support, overpriced peripherals, then fair enough IOS is better for you, but if you actually want to use your device for everything possible that you need from it then a flagship android will WIN EVERY day of the week hands down ....

Good Lord! That looks like the cheap Chinese knockoffs being hawked in every two-bit wireless shop in the seedy part of the city here (Philippines). Actually, worse. Who would want to be seen with that in public? It would mark the bearer as being of low status- as previous posters have mentioned, that's how Apple built its brand, on prestige- thus would be an epic fail on Apple's part.
On another point tangent to the topic at hand, about which I see much needless bickering- Android manufacturers, particularly Samsung, take a lot of heat for 'plastic', but it should be noted that is an engineering decision not a cost-cutting measure on their part. The ABS/PC copolymer Samsung uses is virtually unbreakable and absorbs impact well, protecting the phone's screen and 'guts'. It is more expensive than aluminum. The iPhone's metal does make it look and feel 'premium', but its rigidity is a drawback that can result in damage in a situation that a Sammy or the like would survive unscathed.
That said, if Apple were to follow through with the low-cost approach, they would definitely be going the wrong way with these housings, unless they are simply prototype mockups. I'd like to see them retain both the quality appearance and build that consumers expect of their products- regardless of material, use the best for the job- cutting costs in other areas and not using garish colors and textures that scream "TOY!" or "CHEAP JUNK!"
For the record, I own an iPhone 5 and a few Androids (Samsung, HTC, LG, Huawei) and I love them all- the devices and their respective ecosystems. Neither is perfect, both have their pluses and minuses. And yes that includes so-called plastic phones- done right, they can have all the cachet and class of metal. So sad to see fanbois flaming each other over what is obviously envy for one reason or another. Grow up, get over it! It's all tech, and it's all good. Peace! :-)

So well its not hard to see why so many people are buying iPhones and also other iOS devices.
Also end of day there's not anything else to choose if you want to be in iOS ecosystem (which is best out there), so its pointless you to list those android phones, everyone doesnt want android. For example i wouldnt never buy android phone, well htc one is actually first android phone ever which is interesting, but still going to choose iPhone for my next phone. Also iOS7 is most interesting and best looking OS, so its not hard to choose :)
By the way, iPhone 4S is very powerful phone

this will be a slower maybe smaller feature phone and will be beaten by even the lowest droids but them apple fans will buy it in droves even though you could buy the latest flagship droids for not much more. Well not exactly the latest but you can a few sonys, Samsung s3. Or htc models for less then this and they were all flagships less then 6 months ago. But people are stupid when it comes to choice. And will often buy products based on brand name and appeal rather then functional use. But then again maube thats all they need a phone for. Fscebook. Instagram. Basic internet searching. Texts and calls. May aswell buy the cheapest droids for £50

It will of course be sucessful regardless of the fact that it will have iphone 4 or 4s internals and will still be sold for at least £300-329. Even though u can buy any powerful phone for example galaxy s3 for a lot less with a lot more of everything but people are slaves to brand names and it will sell like crazy. Them colours are hideous. But do think that offering colours will be appealing, u can still make it look better by offering premium colours but then again the price would go up to reflect that knowing apple so just use free daft colours
