Just dropped by to share with you that I got my 10 VI delivered on 28th of June. I set it up today and all the three mobile operators available in India (Airtel, Vodafone, and Jio) work on this phone. I only tried 4G as I didn't have a 5G plan, but since I did get signal with 5G selected, I know it'll work. 2G works too (just tried that for fun).
The dimensions are just lovely, by the way. Feels good to hold something so compact after so long. The back has a lovely finish. I don't know what it is. I mean I know it's plastic, but it feels nothing like the plastic on any other phone I've used. It looks and feels so good. I got the white one - quite peaceful, I must say.
I could've bought the locally available Galaxy A55 for the same price, but I didn't want to and I don't care how they compare with each other. I'm loving it. Life's good. Cheers! :)

The answer is ALL OF THEM. Not a single person I've ever asked said they were happy or even fine with not having it. For many reasons, including the annoyance of running out of battery on the earbuds, the inability to connect to many sound systems, the inability to quickly connect a pair of headphones for calling, the inability to connect good audio gadgets, etc.

They need to sell more phone to get the price down.
One unpopular way to do it is no need to release phone yearly update, alternate year would be sufficient as long as they committed to provide software update to at least 4years and 7years security update. The hardware of the phone certainly can handle it.
Small rant: I am a bit sad with the removal of 21:9 aspect ratio.
I enjoyed this aspect ratio due to the more content while browsing and multi windows works better.

I'm doing whatever it takes to get the Xperia 1 mk 6 this year in the US, unless somehow those Xperia Pro-C & Pro-2 rumors are actually happening. I dont mind paying the Sony premium

I remember being told by t mobile when I came back that my phone was "illegal". It was before "smart" phones took off. It was a Nokia I bought in Barcelona. I was, of course, unlocked, and it had the correct bands and all that but it wasn't a model sold in the US. I was told that I could go to jail for that. That's how they sell phones.

We'd actually buy one of these if they were available and less expensive. That's not being bitter or criticizing a multinational greedy environmentally destructive exploitive corporation as they all are. It's just a comment stating that we appreciate this phone's features and design and would likely buy it if we could.

People just hate sony for being overpriced .. But they dont know actually what they are getting for that price ...
No other phone can beat sony in camera , performance and optimization the only drawbacks are , RAW images ( people like those AI improved images , but the true photograpghers want RAW photos )
And software updates which I ,myself hate ...
( only 2 years ??!!! Ridiculous )

For exampl... moreDespite you being so bitter, I think you should be aware that YOUR country isn't the standard for everything.
I only said, that a good chunk of people are getting their phones with a contract for a cheap price. You would be shocked to find out that even the iPhone would not selling in many countries without contracts subsidizing.
Other than that, whining about the price is not a solution for anything. The company makes the price. Either you buy it for it, or you not. Senseless to freak out about it every time.
Yes I want Porsche giving me the Panamera for 20.000 Euro. Not gonna happen. So I'll buy a different car. That's it.

The 1 Mark VI is the first "normal" phone from Sony to have a vapor chamber, which is quite laughable since other manufacturers have used vapor chambers for years.
Moreover, the 1 Mark V doesn't have a vapor chamber.

Well for those who are whining about the price, be aware that the average customer in Europe gets a contract. Then you buy the phone for 1(!) euro including the xm5 headphone.
